McDonald’s Will Use Nintendo DS To Train New Employees

In Japan the fast food giant McDonald’s will place two Nintendo DS consoles in 3,700 stores. Each will have a training program called “eSmart” placed on them. So my guess is eSmart will teach people how to flip burgers and bust tables? The purpose is to get new employees to learn tricks of the trade faster, so they can cut down training hours. The bigger picture here is if this works in Japan, it will hit the US. And eventually other companies will follow and use Nintendo DS consoles for training. Seems like something that could piss off Microsoft.

Ready For Killzone 3?

SCEA President Jack Tretton has stated the obvious, in an interview with GTTV he confirmed there will be a Killzone 3 coming. Whether it will make an appearance at E3 is still up in the air. But, you can bet its going to come out sometime next year. Lets hope this game doesn’t get caught up in the “Move” hype and delivers a good experience without the gimmicks. Also, one question will be the war of the visuals. PS3 is now officially in a league of its own as far as scale and graphics are concerned. With Killzone 2 being most popular for its appearance, can we expect it to top the wow factor of God Of War III? View the episode below.

Jamie Foxx To Play Lynch In Kane & Lynch Movie

I have seen my fair share of WTF’s in my lifetime. But if the Prince Of Persia can be cast as a white male anything is possible. Oscar winning actor Jamie Foxx was announced via twitter that he will star side by side with Bruce Willis in the big screen version of Kane & Lynch. I wonder if they are going for an action packed new age Pulp Fiction vibe. That’s the only reason I would assume Jamie would get a role that’s supposed to be an old white male. Ebony & Ivory. Either way, I can’t wait!

K’Naan – Wavin Flag Video

K’Naan teamed up with Coca-Cola to make Wavin Flag’ their official song for the 2010 World Cup ad campaign. They shot the video and it even features cameos from the likes of Damien Marley. Pretty big move for K’Naan, this will make him a worldly celebrated artist. Really good look for hip hop. I know my colleague James will be bumping this while he plays FIFA. j/k

First 10 Minutes of Twisted Pixel’s Comic Jumper

PAX East is right around the corner and Twisted Pixel is building up hype for it’s anticipated Comic Jumper game. When this title was first announced, I had no idea what to expect, but now I’m even more gassed up after watching the PAX East demo. The gameplay takes us into the first comic you will ‘jump’ into which is “The Adventures of Captain Smiley.” Fans at PAX East will be let in on even more information regarding the game, so if you will be there please visit booth #601. Best indie/digital release this year, I’m calling it. Ha, at that ringtone!

The demo consists of the game’s protagonists Captain Smiley and Star moving through the first comic book, The Adventures of Captain Smiley, where they must thwart a bank robbery by the crazed Dr. Winklemeyer and Smiley’s arch-nemesis Brad. The first comic features tons of written dialog and voice acting, graphics that conjure the epic splash-page comics from the 90’s, gameplay modes ranging from melee to shooting to riding a Brad-bot down the side of a building, intense panel-jumping transitions, and an unforgettable Brad theme song that you hear while doing battle with Brad before the demo comes to a close.
