Apparently new fighting game BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger won’t be arriving on European and Australian shores anytime soon for Xbox 360 owners in said region. As ‘reported’ on the Xbox360Achievement Forums, it seems that only NTSC Xbox 360 owners will get their hands on the critically acclaimed fighter published by Aksys Games. There’s really nothing left to be said; check out what good ol’ customer support had to say to a European-based consumer who pre-ordered BlazBlue:

Hi,

Please disregard that last email. There was a problem in our chain of
command and it seems BlazBlue for the Xbox 360 will only be playable on US
and Asia consoles.

PS3 of course is still region free.

Sorry for the inconvenience!

Good thing I purchased a PlayStation 3 two weeks ago, now I won’t have to partake in any fanboy discussions regarding exclusive games on either consoles or Microsoft’s inability to provide for region free games on a standardised basis. Though I doubt many will be losing sleep over it unless they’re dedicated fans of fighting games; it seems that European and Australian Xbox 360 gamers have been shorthanded lately also with Ghostbusters not being available to them until later in the year.  Unfortunately, it’s tough luck to those living in Australia and Europe, hopefully they didn’t really care for the game in the first place.

That's it. I'm going to sell my xbox360 and buy a PS3. I really liked xbox360 but I am not going to tolerate this shit from Microsoft anymore.. There must be over 10 good japanese xbox360 games by now that are not released in Europe at all.

What a joke. Sure they want us to keep the 2d fighting alive, but then they go and make the disc NON region free. What a total blow out. Dont Arks have any clue as to what there doing in the retail market.

~now im off to consider importing a US>360, but can they play PAL (Australian Discs?) Or the faggots could at least make it DLC on live.
though not everyone has or wants that live crap.

I don't understand why they do crap like this, especially since there isn't locking on the PS3. Just idiotic, I guess they don't actually want to sell their games...
