Oh dear, it looks like services like Gamefly and Netflix are pounding on good ol’ Blockbuster. GamesIndustry.biz has reported that Blockbuster are seeking bankruptcy advice, so could we be seeing the end of the longtime rental powerhouse?

People don’t realize how big a company Blockbuster is, and companies like Gamefly don’t serve us over here in the UK. So without Blockbuster I’m not sure where I would go if I ever felt the urge to rent those games that I just don’t feel like buying. Perhaps this will be Gamefly and Netflix’s chance to expand globally?
