One of the rare continuing series that had its 1st entry before I was born, Castlevania has many quality games in its long list of releases. Castlevania’s transition to 3D on the PS2 was not received with the warm welcome that Konami would have liked it to, but the games were very enjoyable.

Konami is now looking to revive the series with this latest entry called Lords of Shadow and they brought in Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions to assist MercurySteam with the development of this game. That alone is should be enough to draw in gamers to take a second look at this legendary series. Check out the trailer below to see how the game is coming along.
