What’s good people. It’s Cop or Flop Weekly time. I won’t be doing a video edition this week due to my Spring Break location and conditions, but it will be returning very soon. Besides that, this is a solid video game release week. It’s always a great time to be a gamer, but months like March make it that much better to be one. Here’s a quick list of some games to be on the lookout for.

Perfect Dark … 360

Cop or Flop… Cop

The legendary Nintendo 64 classic finally makes it way to the Xbox 360. With a $10 price point, upscaled graphics, and online play, it’s hard to give Perfect Dark a flop for its return. There might be a day when all the multiplayer maps are empty due to people growing tired of the game, but that day won’t be anytime soon. Games like this show the true value of downloadble games

Metro 2033 … 360, PC

Cop or Flop… Cop

Information on the contents of Metro 2033 were scarce at first glance, but once I watched videos on this and read about fan anticipation, it wasn’t hard to see that this game will offer an unique experience that is worth the time and support of the gaming community. This is a survival horror shooter, but many believe it’s Metro’s world and story that surpasses just about every other game in the genre. I will personally check this out and let you know what the deal is on Metro 2033. Until then check out the game’s official site and read up on it.

Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver

Cop or Flop… Cop

Nintendo is the king when it comes to remakes and Pokemon is getting the remake treatment once again. Back in the day Gold and Silver were straight crack on the screen. Those two games took the Pokemon series to new heights. These remakes may not be the evolution of the brand like the Game Boy versions, but the value and quality of a Pokemon game is still here. With upgraded graphics, new Pokemon, music, and wi-fi connectivity, people will find themselves addicted to Pokemon all over again.

God of War III

First off, go read the homie Swiff Epic’s God of War Review right HERE. Secondly, this is what we all have been waiting for. The battle between Kratos and the Gods finally hits the PlayStation 3. God of War III looks to be the premier action/adventure title to represent this generation of gaming and if the game really does live up to the hype, game of the year front-runner might be an understatement.

What’s up everyone. It’s time for another long week of work, school, etc. It’s also time for another Cop or Flop Weekly. Let me just say this. For the next five or so weeks, expect to be playing a lot of good games. You might find yourself having the urge to choose gaming over eating and sleeping, but be strong. Just remember to play in moderation. Take a 15 minute break after every hour of playing, Turn in your homework in on time, and don’t forget to post on the Koalition… My bad, I’m talking to myself. Let’s get right into this week’s game releases

Heavy Rain … PS3

There are certain games that I shouldn’t have to tell you to cop. It’s just understood that if you consider yourself any kind of respectable gamer, certain games must be played. Heavy Rain is one of those games. If you have a PS3 its simple. Get this game. Heavy Rain is set to deliver an unforgettable, unique gaming experience that blurs the lines between gaming and movies. Don’t let this generation pass you by without playing one of the game will represent this gaming gen five years from now.

Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing … 360, PS3, Wii, DS

I might be putting too much personal bias in my recommendation that you buy this game, but who doesn’t love a fun racer? Mario Kart gave me so many hours of play back in the the day, that any excuses to play a game like it is fine by me. Sonic Racing can be played heavily when families get together and for random nights of gaming with friends… and the ladies. A great selection of characters and online play also adds to the replayability of SSASR. I suggest picking this one up to diversify your gaming catalog. It’s time to take a break from playing the homies in NBA 2K10 and Call of Duty. Play some Sonic All Star Racing until Battlefield Bad Company 2 comes out.

Metal Slug XX … PSP

Metal Slug has been doing its thing for a while now. The thing about Metal Slug games though is that they all feel the same.You could buy any version and be just as happy. Sorta like how Koei keeps putting out those wack titles know as Dynasty Warriors. Trying to tell the difference between each game is like trying to solve the pictures that have minor differences in them. For $19.99 this does have some value if you play the PSP that much. Be warned though, Metal Slug XX only has 7 levels and a few bonuses in it. Don’t expect too much replay value.

Hello all. Time for another edition of the Cop or Flop Weekly. As usual your boy F.Mills is here to let you know what’s really good with video game releases this week. To blunt and to the point, this week’s offerings are sub-par and I’m sure that we all have some games to play and/or beat before March comes around. I still got my hands on Bioshock 2 and Dante’s Inferno myself. Too many games, so little time. This might be a week to catch up on backlogged games. Peep the list below to see why I say these words.

Endless Ocean: Blue World … Wii

I don’t have to many things to bad to say about this game. Endless Ocean seems very relaxing. This is something to play when needing to calm down or a way to waste time, but do you really want to spend money on this and add it to your gaming collection? I would if I had a Wii. Enough with the Wii Sports. Play something else. It’s only $29.99 too.

Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce … 360, PS3

Cop or Flop? … Flop
This made a descent PSP game, but enough is enough. I feel that the Dynasty Warriors developers are the most uncreative team in the history of gaming. This is worst than annual sports games in my eyes. Time after time, year after year, new name same game. The cost of production must be so low to produce a DW that they can’t resist putting them out. That or they really love Feudal China.

Alien vs. Predator 3 … 360, PS3, PC

Cop or Flop? … Flop
The homie Dro aka James G of the Koalition was really looking forward to this release for a while. That was until he played the demo. He might have a review coming to let us know what this game has to offer, but from what has been seen this game is a flop. Go play the demo if you have not and you will be left feeling the same way. Just put this down as another L in Sega’s recent catalog of games.

P.S…. Go pick up Bayonetta if you haven’t already.

Shoutout to all those Indianapolis Colts fans who turn their phones off to avoid phone calls last night (you know who you are). With that being said, welcome back to the Cop or Flop Weekly. Now that the NFL season is over and the World Cup is months away, it’s time to put in some work on the video games. With the games that are coming out this week, that shouldn’t be a problem. Let’s get right to the list.

Bioshock 2 … 360, PS3, PC

Cop or Flop? … Cop
Some people say that games will be great just because of its name alone. That isn’t always a good thing to do. However, when the game being released is a sequel to a masterpiece, would you expect anything less? The sequel to 2007’s game of the year is back and it looks to contend for GOTY in 2010. If Bioshock 2 offers anything close to the experience that Bioshock 1 had, then the developers have done us gamers a great service.

Dante’s Inferno … 360. PS3, PSP

Cop or Flop? … Cop
When it comes down to it, this game is nice. There will be continuous God of War comparison’s because of Dante’s Inferno’s evident copying, but we all know that God of War III will be in a different league. Just appreciate the hellified experience of Dante’s Inferno for now. Play the demo one more time if you need more convincing.

Star Ocean: The Last Hope International

Star Ocean had its fair share of controversy with its 360 release. Even had some people outraged. If you were one of the people that asked why didn’t the PS3 get any love, then your worries are over. Square Enix didn’t forget about you. This PS3 version is deemed the superior experience by the development team themselves. Star Ocean: The Last Hope International might even be fighting for crown of best RPG this generation; at least for now.

Super Monkey Ball Step & Roll … Wii

Can’t imagine too many people who actually plan on buying this game. If you are one of the rare people who are, tell me why. Is it because you like the taste of Super Monkey Balls? I’m just saying, let me know.

Happy New Year! This week is the first full week of 2010 and what away to start it with some new games. No, I am not F.Mills, he’s still recovering from a New Years hangover, I suppose. But the Cop or Flop must go on. The first week of a new year doesn’t usually have two potential games that you must buy, but all the Modern Warfare scaredy-cats are coming out in January. So here are the game that you should be spending you Christmas money on, and the ones you should avoid.

Bayonetta (Xbox 360, PS3)

Cop or Flop? … Cop
Bayonetta is a brand new IP that comes from Sega and the creator of Devil May Cry. If you liked that game then you’re guaranteed to like this, and if you didn’t then at least try out the demo. The Xbox 360 version of the game received a perfect score in the Japanese gaming magazine, Famitsu, and they hardly give perfect scores so you know this has to be something good. Plus, it’ll hold you down until the next major action-adventure, God of War 3.

Darksiders (Xbox 360, PS3)

Cop or Flop? … Cop
If Bayonetta’s Japanese style doesn’t grab you or appeal to you then maybe Darksiders is a more suitable choice. Darksiders has more of a dark, grotesque setting. Its more suitable for the gamer that can’t get enough of God of War. the reviews are in for this game an they’re good, so don’t overlook this game.

Divinity 2: Ego Draconis (Xbox 360, PC)

Divinity 2? Where was Divinity 1? Anyways, Divinity 2 is an RPG about a dragon slayer trying to rid the land of dragons. IF you like dragons and PC games, try it out, but in a time where great games are being produced this should not be a first choice cop. The demo can be found on Xbox Live, if you care to try, but there’s only one RPG worth the time this month and that’s Mass Effect 2. With that said, Divinity 2 is the first flop of 2010.

Happy Holidays. Thanks for checking in with the Cop or Flop Weekly. This will be the last Cop or Flop of the year. Be on the lookout for some changes to be coming to the Cop or Flop in the upcoming weeks. It’s only going to get better from here. I can’t say the same thing about video games releases this week though. I would think that companies would drop some major titles in December to take advantage of the increased spending atmosphere, but instead it’s the worst gaming month of the year. Just look at what’s coming out for the rest of 2009.

Guitar Hero Van Halen … 360, PS3, PS2, Wii

Cop or Flop? … Flop
Music games have been coming out left and right. Some of the are good and just might be worth your time and money. I just happen to think this is not one of them. If you bought Guitar Hero 5 earlier enough you are suppose to get this game free. Unless you are a huge Van Halen fan, this is one to skip over.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers … Wii

Cop or Flop? … Flop
This would make a nice DS game, but anything besides first party Nintendo games is doomed to a life of mediocrity and flops. Square-Enix has been working on this game four years. If you have been waiting for this one you just might be disappointing. All the reviews are smashing this game, but I suggest you play it for yourself if you need something to justify your purchase of a Wii.

Playmobil: Circus … Wii

What can I say about this game that the cover doesn’t say already. Watch it outsell Uncharted 2 this month though…

Dream Salon … Wii

Cop or Flop? … Flop
Nintendo is ending the year off with one of its biggest releases. For everyone who had dreamed of owning a salon, look no further. Dreams do come true. Now you can braid Rico’s hair in real life and in a video game. Just don’t let your homies see you playing this one. They may not be as sensitive to your preferences as I am.

The Cop or Flop Weekly is back. Unfortunately, good video game releases are still no where to be found. Games coming out in December are some of the worst that I can ever recall for a one month time period. I would rather watch a marathon of Oprah instead of playing some of these games. You might think that I am exaggerating, but in the words of Kurt Angle, “It’s true. It’s damn true.” Below is a list games that are coming out this week and I am giving them all one big Flop. Band Hero, DJ Hero, Rock Band, Guitar Hero, and Karaoke Revolution. Out of all the music games that I just named, Karaoke Revolution is the one that deserves the award for wackest music game at Spike’s 2009 Video Game Awards Show.

Scene It? Twilight … Wii

Twilight has the movie world going nuts with the New Moon movie, but I rather watch ants carry away bread crumbs than play this game. Tru Blood ftw.

Your Shape … Wii

Another one of the Wii’s Fall 2009 megaton releases. I wonder how many people will actually pick this up to play after eating at five relatives houses for Thanksgiving.

Tekken 6 … PSP

Cop or Flop: Flop …
Tekken is one of the most competitive games out today. The level of competition and replay value that the console version of Tekken 6 have will be missing from the pint size version. Being price at $39.99 doesn’t help either. Maybe I am just cheap, but all PSP games would start off at $29.99 if I was in charge of pricing.

What’s good people. It’s time for another Cop or Flop Weekly. If you thought last week’s video game releases were hot, this week is blazing. Call of Duty has the gaming world going nuts, but I am a huge action/adventure gamer. A couple of games this week will greatly contribute to an increase in my electric bill for the rest of the month. Take a look at the releases below to see what games could have the same effect on you.

Left 4 Dead 2 … 360, PC

Cop or Flop: Cop …
Last year’s co-op classic returns for round two. A lot of controversy was surrounding this game creation as many people think it should not exist, but L4D2 will still be extremely fun to play. It has new maps, new characters, and new weapons, but old gameplay. It’s up to you to decide if the new stuff outweighs the old. I think it does.

Assassin’s Creed 2 … 360, PS3

Cop or Flop: Cop …
The first Assassin’s Creed has a reputation of being boring, but it still did above average numbers. Thankfully, the good people over at Ubisoft heard our cries to scrap the tedious, repetitive gameplay that plagued the first game and they just might have a classic on their hands. The game picks up where the first left off in terms of overall plot, but the increase in action, dialogue, and diversity makes this game one to have in your collection.

Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles … Wii

Cop or Flop: Flop …
In the last 10 years it seems like Capcom has taken over Nintendo with Resident Evil releases. Some of those releases are pretty good, but now it seems like overkill. If you are a Resident Evil buff eager for all the details of Resident Evil 2 and Code Veronica’s storylines, then by all means pick this up. Other than that, this just might be one to skip over.

God of War Collection … PS3

Cop or Flop: Cop …
Kratos might just be the most bad ass character in gaming history. If you disagree with me, you must have not played through these God of War games. This collection is a must have to get you ready for God of War III. Correction, it’s a must have period.

Little Big Planet … PSP

Cop or Flop: Cop …
Little Big Planet and PSP seem like a perfect match. The game flopped on the PS3 and it probably will do the same on the PSP, but the content, innovation, and value of LBP is undeniable. People get real creative when making LBP levels and having that kind of fun on the go is definitely worth investing into.

What’s good people. It feels good to back here doing the Cop or Flop Weekly. I was in Miami for a few days and let’s just say it’s a nice place to visit, but I don’t want to live there. Besides that, it’s time to put in serious work on these video games. This week is what everyone has been waiting for. Let’s see what noteworthy games are dropping this week.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 … 360, PS3, PC

What can I say? Everyone you know is copping this. Personally, I don’t know how it reached this status, but now we can find out if Infinity Ward has truly made a game worthy of all this tremendous hype it has been getting. Then its up to Treyarch to man up and bring out a better product next year.

Dragon Ball Raging Blast … 360, PS3

Cop or Flop: Flop …
Even though I am a Dragonball Z fanboy and will be playing this game throughout the rest of the year, it is clearly a flop. Namco-Bandai has taken the Smackdown VS. Raw route with this series and keeps pushing out product every year. We all know how that works out… Fans of fighting games stay should away from this. Fans of Dragonball, I will see you online.

New Super Mario Bros Wii

Cop or Flop: Cop …
This is easily the Wii’s biggest game of the year. Only Nintendo can throw the word new in front of something that has been around forever and make millions off of it. The homie Krypt will be giving a good in-depth review to let everyone know what is really up with this game. Until he finishes playing, why don’t you go save the princess for the 1000th time.

Braid … PS3

Cop or Flop: Cop …
Better late then never. This time manipulating Mario style game is a solid edition to the PlayStation Network. This game is critically acclaimed for a reason. As a warning to you all casual gamers out there; Braid is difficult. Old school, Megaman 9 difficult. If you get mad easily and like throwing controllers around during your rage, do yourself and favor and play this game in small doses.

What’s good people. Welcome back to the Cop or Flop Weekly. Now that Halloween has passed by it is time to get back to the games. November is in full effect and we are just about in the eye of the storm as far as video game releases are concerned. I have the urge to flop every game this week because next week is what it’s all about, but there might be a game or two on the radar for now. Here’s what I think about the game being released this week.

Hasbro Family Game Night … 360

Cop or Flop: Flop …
I might be wrong, but this month isn’t the time for family games. Send the kids to granny’s house. A little solo action will be needed to play all these games that have been coming out.

Star Wars The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition … 360, PS3, PC

Cop or Flop: Flop …
The Force Unleashed isn’t a bad game. This version comes with 3 brand new levels and 2 DLC levels, but is anyone really looking for this? This release seems catered to the new owners of current gen systems who might have money to throw on a Star Wars game. If you haven’t played this I recommend you pick up a used copy of the original version for about $10 to $15 and you would be just as satisfied.

C’mon son. C’mon. Go pick up DJ Hero. You don’t want Kanye to come and interrupt your game while you’re jamming to Taylor Swift do you?

Dragon Age: Origins … 360, PS3, PC

Cop or Flop: Cop …
Mass Effect Dragon? Oh, Dragon Age; close enough. This game has value written all over it. Bioware has a track record of releasing hot games. I’m not the biggest RPG fan, but their games don’t disappoint. Dragon Age: Origins has been on a lot of people’s must own list. Watching gameplay video of Dragon Age showed me why people are picking this one up. I suggest you look at some footage and decide what the verdict is for yourself. Maybe even buy it from the new Koalition store which can be found by clicking here….

Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier … PS2, PSP

Cop or Flop: Flop …
The Jak & Daxter series provided me with hours of fun back when the PS2 was poppin, the thing is PS2 is not poppin right now. It is on the PSP too, but my PSP is going in the shoe box for a couple of months. What about yours?

What’s good. How’s everyone doing out there? Hope you are enjoying your weekend. Mines was alright until Shogun got blackballed last night in UFC 104, but that’s another topic. There are a lot of games to be copped, especially with Best Buy having a buy 2, get 1 free sale on video games going on this week. Let’s take a look at this week’s game releases and see what hotness is coming out to add your collection.

Forza Motosport 3 … 360

The Xbox 360’s flagship racing game is back. More cars, more tracks, more customization, and more fun. If you love racing games its pretty much a given that you will be picking this one up.

Tekken 6 … 360, PS3, PSP

Cop or Flop: Cop …
The King of Fighters is the king for a reason. Jin and Kazuya are finally ready to settle the score with old man Heihachi doing whatever it is he does. This game has many modes and customization features, but it all comes down to fighting. Tekken is a well rounded game where beginners can pick it up and play, but where advance players must have ingenious strategies to win against good competition. Since this is the first multi-console online Tekken, expect a lot competition to be waiting for you online.

Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City/ The Ballad of Gay Tony

Cop or Flop: Cop …
For $40 you can get the Lost & Damned and the Ballad of Gay Tony. If you still have your copy of GTAIV you can buy the Ballad of Gay Tony on Xbox Live for $20. After all those trailers Gay Tony is easily worth that price point. Many people say that GTA is on overload with content in their minds, but good games should never go unplayed. Pick this up.

Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time

Fans of Ratchet already know what’s up. Consistent, quality gameplay, an intriguing storyline, and over the top weapons. Platform games aren’t getting the shine that they once had in previous generations, but that does not mean the genre is dead just yet. I have yet to play a wack Ratchet & Clank game, so I’ll be picking this one up personally. I need to put down Uncharted 2 for a minute anyway.

DJ Hero

Cop or Flop: Cop …
This is a real toss up. I had to think on terms of when I get the money to cop this would I? Perhaps you are asking yourselves the same thing. There is no doubt in my mind that DJ Hero is a worthy game to own. DJ Hero looks fun, but it still comes down to value. I could cop three games this week at Best Buy for the same price as one DJ Hero. Well you know what they say, it ain’t tricking if you got. Do you have it?

After playing Uncharted 2 like a maniac I’m not sure if I’m ready to pick up another game just yet. You may feel differently though because this week is full of potential games to bust your wallets and purses wide open. There is more Cop than Flop this week. WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2010 … 360, PS3, PS2, PSP, Wii

Cop or Flop: Cop …
These WWE games have a loyal following. They will be copping this no matter what scores the game receives. However, for those who haven’t played a Smackdown vs. Raw game since the 07 version… (looks in the mirror)… this might be the time to jump back into the series. With more features than Fabolous last album, this games replayability and gameplay is better than it has ever been before.

Fifa 10 … 360, PS3, PS2, PSP, Wii, DS, PC

Cop or Flop: Cop …
Fifa is doing nice numbers over there in Europe. My America people should be on the lookout for the same thing. Watching soccer aka Football on TV is not my style, but the game is hot and fun to play. I can’t deny that.

Borderlands … 360, PS3

Cop or Flop: Cop …
Add a half cup of FPS, three tablespoons of RPG, and throw a dash of customization. That is the recipe for Borderlands. Word around the internet is that the developers for Borderlands have cooked that crack for this one. 4 player co-op makes this game very appealing, but it shines with the amount of weapons at your disposal. This game has sleeper hit written all over it.

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars … PSP

This game is a toss up. Gameplay footage is no where to be found. The DS version has touch screen implementation with the PSP obviously lacks. On top of that people may just buy Gay Tony and have no desire to even look at this pocket version of GTA. With that being said, I’ll be playing this later on this week. Over the top GTA view ftw.

iCarly … Wii, DS

Cop or Flop: Flop …
This is what you can expect from the Wii’s Fall lineup. The homie Kap gone be mad that I didn’t give this game a cop, but he’s working on this game’s review right now to let you know why he thinks iCarly is a potential game of the year front runner. We’ll be on the lookout for that.

Whats up people. The Cop or Flop Weekly is in full effect. All those Fall 2010 games we have been waiting for are ready to flood the market. I’m getting goosebumps thinking about how much money I am about to give up. This week in gaming isn’t going to help my wallet either. I could easily post all games that are cop worthy this week. NBA Live 2010

Cop or Flop: Cop
NBA Live is coming for that number 1 spot. Seems like whenever I talk to some about what basketball game they are picking up this week I am getting more Live answers than 2K10. Fun gameplay, solid presentation, and that timely demo release has done wonders for this games notoriety. To put it simple, Live is worth picking up.

NBA 2K10

However, when I think about playing this game on a 50 inch tv after knocking back a beer or two I see this games potential. When your not on the solo tip, might even lets the kids play if you have any. It’s better than going to the zoo.

If you desire a good, action rpg that isn’t boring for half the game *cough… fallout 3…cough* this game is what the you should be looking at. Word on the street is that this game is a slept on GOTY contender. Google more about to see if you could feel the same way.

Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising

It’s impossible for me not to say anything about MW2 when on the subject of first person shooters. Now that I got that out of the way, this game seems cool and fun. Unfortunately, I put off fps until that other game comes out. If you are a fps fanatic it worth learning more about.

Whats up people. Time for another Cop or Flop Weekly. The last week of gaming in September is going out with a bang; a small bang, but a bang nonetheless. I’m going to start this off by talking about one of the more controversial releases this week. Let’s get right into it.

Sony PSPgo

Much has been said about the PSPgo all over the internet, but the fact remains that it is simply not worth its value. I would be more likely to cop an iPod touch before a PSPgo. Going all digital means that the urge to trade and sell your games will not be satisfied. Once you buy something, your stuck with it. Many people are not ready for such a full time commitment. Gran Turismo

This game been missing for a while now, but its finally coming. I don’t have to do much explaining here. Gran Turismo is Gran Turismo. Now you can take it everywhere and build you car library up for Gran Turismo 5 on the PS3.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma II

There is no doubt that if you have not experienced Ninja Gaiden 2, this game should go over your head. Even if you played this on 360 it is still worth picking up. PS3 only owners should rejoice. The demo made me a believer. Solid gameplay, updated graphics, online co-op, more girls. What more can you ask for? This release is the best Team Ninja has to offer.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days

Many mediocre reviews are going out for this game. I can only recommend copping this one is your a fan of the series, which I know many of you are. There has been no news on Kingdom Hearts 3, so if you have a DS this title will hold you over.

Halo ODST … 360

Some call it bad business, some call it hustling. I had to put my bias aside on this one though. The Halo fans have spoken and told me that this game is a Cop and they are the ones who will run to break $60 on this. I won’t knock the campaign of Halo ODST itself, but $60 should make anyone question the value of this package to you personally. I can only hope that re-releasing multiplayer with available DLC is not the future gaming. Get to making a new multiplayer Bungie and say what Halo Reach is already.

Trine … PS3

I been waiting on this one for a while. After more pushbacks than Killzone 2, this temporary PC timed exclusive is finally confirmed to come out for the US PSN this week. For $20 you get a full length puzzle platformer. The quality of these digitally distributed games is starting to show. Their cheap enough to make you buy instead of renting. Gamestop better look out.

Where’s Waldo? The Fantastic Journey … Wii, DS, PC

A good amount of video games are coming out this week if you looking for something new to play. A few of them should been on your radar and a few of them should not exist. I could run through all of them, but I don’t feel like giving out a million flops. Just sit back, relax, and checkout what gets the Cop or Flop this week.

I don’t have a DS, but if i did this would be a game that I would play during car rides and airplane trips. This game has a very unique concept. Type or write a word and that noun or object appears in the game. Simple gameplay yet genius at the same time. Someone with this game type in F. Mills marrying Alicia Keys and tell me what happens.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2

I was on the fence about this one. First I want to say that this game is completely cop worthy if you like the first game or need a beat em up game in your library. With that being said I personally was disappointed. While playing the game I was constantly thinking about how ugly some of these costumes look on my TV. Could they not hire better voice actors? Why do all these fusion attacks do the same moves with different colors? None of the stuff above didn’t bother mean on the gameplay end, but what killed my experience for me was the manipulation of the Civil War storyline. You only get a couple of stages of the greatness that the Civil War was before you get hit with a video game friendly alternative to the situation and play through that story most of the game. The new story add on isn’t bad, not that great either, but my personal bias is coming into play with this flop. If they stuck to the Civil War storyline this game had the potential to be a classic in my eyes. However, after playing for about 4 hours and realized the changes and that the game really wasn’t getting funner as I played it, I continued to play it with resentment. Most people might put decision to flop in the category of lame with this decision, but anyone copping this expecting it to be anywhere near as hot as the real Civil War storyline might have their experience altered as well.

WET

Cop or Flop: Flop
Games like this is the reason to have Gamefly. Price alone warrants a flop for this game. It just isn’t long enough and lacks replay value. A $60 price point would make anyone skip over this game. I like the demo though. WET is constantly being compared to Stranglehold and I like that game. WET seems like the perfect game to stay up on late night and play it until its beat. You also can’t go wrong by naming the game WET either.

LittleBigPlanet Game of the Year Edition … PS3

With PS3’s flying off the shelf now is a good time to pick this up. This game is extremely entertaining if you playing with a group of people, but it can get boring quick you going through it solo. The increase in users will help to insure that more players and content are around for you to have fun with.

Colin McRae: Dirt 2 … 360, PS3, PSP, Wii, DS

If your tired of playing Burnout and Forza 2 this game is just as good. As the name suggest, you will be doing a good amount of your racing in the dirt course so crashes and big jumps will be epic. Try the demo out 1st if you want to see what’s up with this game for yourself.

Mini Ninjas … 360, PS3, Wii

The demo didn’t appeal to me. I probably could beat this game in one afternoon sitting if I want to. The game seemed kind of fun, but I was wavering toward boredom at the end of the demo. Someone pick this up and tell me if I’m wrong.

The Beatles: Rock Band … 360, PS3, Wii

Personally, I can’t sing you a hook from one Beatles song. I won’t be buying this as I am tired of music games as a whole, but luckily for developers you might not be. This is suppose to have feature upgrades coming from all directions so fans of this genre and the Beatles should view this as money well spent.

I’m just calling it how I feel and right now I feel like rapping DOBG (Dead of Band Games) on a Jay Z beat. This genre is on over exposure with content and pricing and I refuse to be the one to tell you that this is worth your money. Buy it if you a solid fan of the series, other than that leave it alone. Guitar Hero Something will be out in a few months.

Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny … PSP

Soul Calibur 4 really went over my head so I will be picking this up personally. Some games just translate and feel perfect on the PSP. This is one of those games and it will easily demand many hours of your life… And not to mention that guy iin background of the cover.

Section 8 … 360, PC

Nothing really caught my eye with this game. It really feels like another sci-fi shooter to me. Hell, I rather play this then Halo 3. However, that doesn’t mean I wanna break $60 on this. Once a $30 price drop hits this will be in my radar then.

Muramasa: The Demon Blade … Wii

This decision took serious thought. I spent about an hour reading and watching gameplay and I eventually decided that if I had a Wii I would want this. This game has the potential to be fun and mad repetitive though being a hack and slash type game. Pick this up and play it in strides, otherwise it might fall victim to a quick Gamefly trade.

Batman Arkham Asylum … PS3, 360

Not to waste any time, this is the game I was talking about above. I’m borderline ready to call this game a classic. The only reason not to play through this game is because you have a fear of men that dress up in bat costumes. The story is top notch, the graphics are detailed, the stealth is on point, the combat is nice, the puzzles are cool, the island is detailed, the gadgets are batastic… I could go on. I’m not going to sit here and promote for the game, but to me its the best game of the year so far. Worth the wait and more.

Mana Khemia 2: Fall Of Alchemy … PS2

To keep I real I don’t know one thing about this game, but word on the street is that this is the game that hardcore RPG players are waiting for. I also heard from the homie Haipa Soniku that this game could become rare in the foreseeable future. I’m willing to pick up a copy and hold on to it. Sell it to get Final Fantasy 13 when that drops.

Final Fantasy Dissidia … PSP

Every once in a while a game comes along worth dusting off your PSP for. With a fun fighting system and legendary Final Fantasy characters, this game is something that should be on your radar. There is a demo available on the PSN is you want to try before you buy.

This game is a said to be Metroid, Castlevania, and Contra gameplay all in one. After seeing its gameplay I have to agree. Quality downloadable games are starting to come out more often than not. At $15 this another one of those games with value that is worth the price

Raven Squad: Operation Hidden Dagger … 360, PC

After watching the trailer for this game, I didn’t see anything worth copping. It’s a FPS and RTS mixed in one, so that might appeal to some people out there. Seeing as how I’m staying away from copping new FPS until MW2 and I dislike RTS, this might be one to skip over with ever noticing that it came out.

Singstar Queen … PS3, PS2

How is this game going to be called Singstar Queen with dudes on the cover? This has to be one of those alternative lifestyles games. This should fit nicely into Htown’s collection of music games though. As for everyone else, do not even acknowledge the existence of this game. Delete the image of this game’s cover from your brain now.

Spending money on Madden is a yearly ritual for sports fans now. Year after year gamers have be asking for a true, new Madden experience that is worthy of their cash. I haven’t played it yet, but word on the street is that this is the year where your demands have been answered. Be on the look for impressions from one of the Koalition family. They are sure to come.

Trials HD … 360

We were just talking about Excitebike on the NES the other day, but its 2009 and Trials HD is here for that number 1 spot. Anyone who likes bikes or just want to play something fun, this is supposedly your game right here. PC gamers have been praising Trials fun gameplay for awhile now. It’s time for 360 owners to spend some Microsoft Points and join in.

Marvel vs. Capcom 2 … PS3

I’ve held off buying this for the 360 and finally after the two week wait, my PlayStation brethren and I will be able to get our hands on MVC2 for the PS3. The homie Random gave the heads up on his blog that the Marvel vs. Capcom 2 mixtape will dropping one of this days on the PSN. Keep your eyes open for that as well.

I’ve tried so hard to get into Fallout 3, but it usually ends with me hitting the power button swearing never to play it again. Fortunately, there are people who did not hit that power button so quickly and hail Fallout 3 as a classic. DLC after DLC continues to make this game out this world. Especially with this latest DLC release.

Daisy Fuentes Pilates … Wii

With this being a website for a certain demographic, I don’t expect anyone, and I’m mean anyone who is looking at this post to buy this game. Gears of War All Front Collection … 360

For all the people who wanted or just did not feel like buying Gears of War 2 DLC in the past, now you have a reason to. For 1600 ms points you get a massive amount of content that is nearly irresistible if you still play this game or will. Here is what you are getting just in case you haven’t heard by now: A new campaign level, Flashback, Combustible, Snowblind and, 7 more maps in the new Dark Corners map pack.

Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 … 360

After years of pleading for a remake, Capcom finally delivered. Leaving the winning formula untouched while adding online gameplay, this game can do no wrong in the eyes of its fans. I’m going to go ahead and say that this will be the new record holder for most sales of a Xbox Live arcade game. My PS3 brethren will have to wait until August 14 to break its records. Be on the lookout for that Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 Mixtape as well.

Summertime releases are starting to slowdown a little bit, but by no means is that a reason to stop playing the games that are coming out. I have of backlog of about 20 games that I need to go through, but this week’s game releases has a title I been looking forward to for a while. Lets get into the list.

Wii Sports Resort

Cop or Flop: See Carl Daniel’s Review… With me having a obvious dislike for the gaming experience that the Wii offers, I will hold back my opinion for now. The Koalition’s Nintendo expert Carl Daniel will have a review for this game coming in a day or two. He gone keep it real with the Wii owners so be on the look out for that.

Rock Band Country Pack

Cop or Flop: Flop… Don’t buy this. New versions of music games are the verge of release and DLC comes out every week. I can only recommend this if you really love country music, don’t like buying DLC, or just want to prove to me how wrong I am.

King of the Fighters XII

Cop or Flop: Cop... This is a game that I have been waiting for. The trailers speak for themselves. Terry Bogard and I are ready to do the damn thang once again. This year has been a comeback for the 2D fighters, but there is only one king.

I won’t be spending a penny on new games this week, so its hard for me to tell you to do so. There might be one title that you might want to rent or check out though.

Holy Invasion of Privacy Badman: What Did I Do to Deserve This? PSP

Cop or Flop: Flop… Other sites are giving this game good reviews. Maybe I shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. Maybe the JRPG and puzzle fans will love this game. Maybe Kap will stop trying to get 1000 achievement points on High School Musical 3. Who knows, but if you are like me the name of the game screams for a flop and I couldn’t resist giving it one.

Birthday Party Bash Wii

Cop or Flop: Cop… NCAA seems to have better gameplay and innovation over Madden every year. This is a good game to hold you over if your been fiending for a new 2010 football experience.

Cop or Flop: Cop… The Bigs 1 was a very solid party game and this looks to be even more fun packed. The demo is available on XBL and PSN is you need more convincing.

Battlefield 1943 360, PS3

Cop or Flop: Cop… I didn’t know anything about this game last week and now I have money on my PSN account waiting to cop this. No only do you get a fps, but the airplane flying looks to be top notch like Warhawk. At a $15 price point this is a great value.

Whats up people.Yesterday was the 1st day of Summer here in the States and it has me wishing for some that UK weather. An air conditioner blowing with some good games is the best thing to have during times like this. Luckily, this week is pretty good on games. I gave more games a Cop this week than normal. Check it out and see what I mean.

Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires 360, PS3

Cop or Flop: Flop… Some companies are able to take a winning formula and recreate games into works of art. Other companies take a losing formula and keep putting crap out to spite people like myself. Guess what category this game falls under.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen 360, PS3, PS2, PSP, PC, Wii, DS

Cop or Flop: Flop… Games that are developed for this many systems already have a problem with resource stability to put out a quality product for every console… I’m really hitting this with the automatic movie game flop though. Please save your $60 and go see the movie instead.

The Conduit Wii

Cop or Flop: Cop… This is what I like to see from the Wii. Support new IP’s. Especially ones that don’t suck.

Monster Hunter Freedom Unite PSP

Cop or Flop: Cop… Monster Hunter is an example of that winning formula I was talking about. Each game seems to offer a far more enjoyable experience than the others. I played the demo of this for hours and can say that games like this are reasons to own a PSP.

Overlord II 360, PS3. PC

Cop or Flop: Cop… This game has zero word of mouth on the internet , but its getting solid reviews everywhere. If you need a long adventure game to play, that’s not boring, and its not named Mass Effect or Fallout 3, this might be what you have been waiting for.

Fight Night Round 4 360, PS3

Cop or Flop: Cop… The time has finally arrived. Throw away your copies of Round 3 in the trash and prepared to get thrashed. Triple-Og-Mills is my gamertag. Come get some.

Ghostbusters : The Video Game PS3, 360, Wii, DS

Cop or Flop: To be determined… This is first time I am holding back my Cop or Flop verdict for a game. I can’t give it the automatic movie game flop since it was built from the ground up as a game with an original story. I will be doing a full review on Ghostbusters later this week, so be on the lookout for that.

Guitar Hero: Smash Hits PS3, 360, Wii

Cop or Flop: Flop… I know what you asking. After all the money I spent on Guitar Hero games why would I buy this one? Well, good question. The answer is you shouldn’t. This latest entry is taking the so call “Greatest Hits” from the other games and re-releasing them. So basically your buying the exact same stuff over for a new price. I’m all down for a good re-release, but not this one. DLC is the way to go for more songs. Not a compilation.

Game releases usually slowdown after all the excitement of E3. Gamefly would be a godsend if you really have to play all the latest games. Other than that, keep saving your money for games that you really want to buy.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 360, PS3, PS2, PSP, Wii

Cop or Flop: Flop… Reading about the new features included in this version over the 09 edition, I can’t justify spending $60 on this one. This isn’t like Madden or Live when you get roster updates and huge gameplay editions (even though we rarely get those). Put 09 and 10 side by side on different TV screens and you probably would not know the difference.

Prototype 360, PC

Cop or Flop: Cop… This game is hectic, fun, amazing, and whatever other words you can think of. For anyone who enjoys chaos, this game takes it to a new level. I don’t know why there has not been a big marketing push behind Prototype. It should be bigger than what most people think.

Rock Band Unplugged PSP

Cop or Flop: Flop… If there is one reason to dust of your PSP and take it out the go with you… this is not it. What makes Rock Band and Guitar Hero games above average are the peripherals. Take those away and your left with a music game with flashing lights on a screen.

What up. How’s everyone doing out there. I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling good. This is a great week to be a gamer. Not only do you get your weekly dose of the Cop or Flop, but E3 is here. Make sure you keep your eyes and ears open to thekoalition.com for that raw and uncut E3 news like no one else can give it to you. With that being said, let’s see what game releases this week will have an effect on your wallets.

Red Faction: Guerrilla PS3, 360

Cop or Flop: Cop… Anyone who played the demo knows this is a quality game. I’ve been a fan of Red Faction since the beginning, and I am glad that the series remains as fun as it has ever been.

Virtual Tennis 2009 PS3, 360, PC

Cop or Flop: Cop… This is a competitive game that anyone game learn in minutes, but takes months to master. Put a few Bud Lights in the fridge, invite your friends over, and watch how quickly you start to feel like your in a Wimbledon tournament.

The Sims 3 PC

Cop or Flop: Cop… All my PC gamers know that this is a Cop. One of the few games out that lets your imagination run wild. Unlike previous version of the Sims, the Sims 3 is incorporating all the activities of life without the need of expansion packs Now if only, my real life could get a financial expansion pack.

Happy Memorial Day, Happy Bank Day, Happy I Got The Day Off From Work Day. This weeks Cop or Flop Weekly is going to be simple. There is meat cooking outside on the grill right now and its calling my name. If you picked up UFC last week, it is a real good party game if you are not going to be playing the Wii all day. With that being said, let’s go over this week’s game releases real quick.

Infamous PS3

Cop or Flop: Cop… I had my doubts about this game at first, but the demo is nice. With 30 hours of solid gameplay and the Uncharted 2 beta code, there is no way this shouldn’t crack the 100′000 mark on next months NPD’s.

Secret Agent Clank PS2

Cop or Flop: Flop… The PS2 is taking its last breaths and this game does not do it justice to be one of its occasional releases. Just go with the PSP version or get Quest for Booty on the PSN.

Naruto Shippuden: Ninja Council 4 DS

Cop or Flop: Flop… Fans of the series are waiting for a true current gen release of a Naruto Shippuden game and this is not it. The gameplay are graphics of Ninja Council 4 remind me of the old Power Rangers the Movie Game on the Sega Genesis. I would rather play that than this.

Cop or Flop: Flop… I normally try not to use other game site reviews to determine whether a game gets a Cop or Flop, but this game is getting real low scores across the board.

This week in gaming is one that a lot of people have been waiting for. It’s finally time to pick up those games that you have had on preorder for the last few weeks. This week’s Cop or Flop isn’t all cut and dry though. You might be surprised at some of my verdicts this week. I’m no expert, but I give my Cop or Flop ratings on the basis of originality, content, re-playability, and overall fun factor combined. Check it out and agree to disagree.

Punch-Out Wii

Cop or Flop: Flop… Remake after remake after remake. Nintendo are the hustlers of this generation. I can’t knock the hustle, but I can knock the games. I think Punch-Out and Super Punch-Out are better this motion control edition. Classic games aren’t meant to be remade.

Terminator Salvation 360, PS3, PC

Cop or Flop: Flop… Two Words, movie game. I will be seeing the midnight showing of the movie though.

Bionic Commando 360, PS3

Cop or Flop: Flop… Horrible timing for this game to be released. Infamous and Prototype are around the corner and Bionic Commando is sure to be outshined by both. This is a game that you put in your backlog to come back to during periods of extreme boredom.

Rock Band Track Pack: Classic Rock 360, PS3, PS2, Wii

Cop or Flop: Flop… Is it just me or is this music game stuff on overkill? With all the DLC that comes on out on a weekly basis I’m sure you can live without these 20 tracks.

UFC 2009 Undisputed 360, PS3

Cop or Flop: Cop… I don’t have to explain this one too much. The demo speaks for itself. Finally a UFC game made using current gen technology and not some PS2 engine like other games that I won’t call out.

Wagwan. I’m back with yet another Cop or Flop Weekly to let you know what games will be coming out this week. With the end of school rapidly approaching, video games are just the thing to help you relax and pass the time Overall this week’s releases are not looking good, but next week will be full of nice games. I was real tempted to call everything a flop this week, so check out the list below to see if there is something worth breaking bread on.

Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball Wii

Cop or Flop: Flop… Right now I am going to officially declare my disgust and hatred the Nintendo Wii’s game releases. Time after time again the Wii takes a wack game, adds motion controls to it, and expects the game to come out decent. Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball cost 800 ms points on xbla, but it cost $30 for the Wii. Something doesn’t add up.

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner 2 PS2

Cop or Flop: Cop… RPG lovers already know what this series has to offer. This game will easily give you up to 80 hours of gameplay. I have to assume that most people have stop playing PS2 games on a daily basis, but this is a cop if you have access to it.

Sacred 2: Fallen Angel PS3, 360

Cop or Flop: Flop… Games like this only appeal to hardcore fans of the action role-playing game genre. Sacred 2 is receiving below average scores across the board. I highly suggest going back to replay Oblivion instead of copping this game.

Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus Wii

Cop or Flop: Flop… I was a big fan of this series years ago, but it took the Street Fighter 2 route and released a different version of the same game until I couldn’t take it anymore. Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus was also released on the PSP and PS2 last month, but I would suggest you buy a previous version of this game and you will have just as much fun as if you had bought this new release.
