Dark Void Demo Gameplay

Well the demo for Capcom’s Rocketman inspired game Dark Void dropped on Xbox Live today and as with most demos I recorded my playthough for all of you to watch. The footage below features some aerial combat, some side missions, and some ground combat. There’s also a scene where I jack a UFO. Check it out and leave your impressions of the demo.

The video below shows around 18 minutes of footage from the demo and features a little taste of the games story, Dante’s first steps into the 9 circles of hell and even a fight with Death himself. Left 4 Dead 2 Demo Gameplay & Impressions

Game Developer VALVE is poised to unleash more FPS Zombie madness with the release of Left 4 Dead 2 on the Xbox 360 and the PC. With the impending release date set to drop on November 17th, we here at the Koalition were able to create impressions based off the demo gameplay.

Once you begin the demo you have the option of playing the campaign in either single player or cooperative mode. The opening level that you play on is The Parish, the New Orleans themed setting first talked about with the announcement of the sequel. The gameplay experience is very similar to the original Left 4 Dead, but the addition of Melee weapons to your arsenal takes everything up a notch. You can string together several combos by using different melee weapons such as frying pans, and swords. These tools come in handy when faced with zombies who wear protective shield police attire. It’s also worth noting that the computer controlled partners are more helpful when starting out and can save and heal you more drastically if you take too much damage.

The A.I. is a little chaotic at times and becomes increasingly challenging when faced by hordes of enemies. There are also variations in zombies you face off against which include the Hunters and Smokers. Overall the experience is shaping up to be an addictive, fun game that will require strategy to survive as a group.

BRUTAL LEGEND Demo Impressions

Psychonauts creator Tim Schafer teams up with EA to create this intriguing world of fantasy and fun in his latest game, Brutal Legend. This isn’t your standard Hack and Slash adventure though as it includes gameplay elements of driving and playing music all while paying homage to the Rock Music genre. Add in the comedic presence of Jack Black and you have a recipe for greatness. This demo was insanely fun to try out and promises that the final version will be a rocking good time. Whatever you do don’t sleep on this one.

Wass up everyone, Me and the team decided to try out the PlayStation 3 version of the Lost Planet 2 demo last night and i just so happened to record the entire event. Watch as Me, Swiff and Mr Mills try and navigate through the jungle, fighting off all types of shit including a few big bosses.

WET Demo Gameplay

It has been a good couple of days for demos, We have had a Lost Planet 2 Co-op demo (Footage Coming Soon), a Colin McRae: Dirt 2 demo and now we have a WET demo.

The first of the video’s show off WET’s rage mode which reminded me of that scene in Kill Bill where the fight scene was shot in black and white. The second video shows off some random gameplay from the demo. Enjoy

Colin McRae: DiRT 2 Demo Gameplay

Here’s a little gameplay from the recently released Colin McRae: DiRT 2 Demo which is available on both Xbox Live and The Playstation Store. The first video features the “Morocco Trailblazer” race and the second video shows off the replay from the first video.

The Colin McRae: DiRT 2 demo features two exhilarating events, both available to play in single-player offline and in 8-vehicle online multiplayer. In the Trailblazer event, players take on the ultimate test of rally car against the challenging Moroccan terrain on a point-to-point track filled with flat-out straights and hair-raising hairpins in the Mitsubishi Eclipse GT. Gamers can also race in a Landrush event at the spectacular Ensenada Port circuit set in Baja California, where players go wheel-to-wheel in an 8-vehicle riotous race over lethal bumps and killer jumps in the heavy duty West Coast Choppers Stuka Trophy Truck.

Uncharted 2: Multiplayer Beta – Co-op Gameplay

Well Today is June 3rd and that only means one thing, the Uncharted 2 Multiplayer Beta is live. The beta weighs in at a hefty 1.2GB and features two modes of play, a competitive multiplayer and a three player co-op mode.

Overall i was surprised on how good the multiplayer was, as you can see from the video. Naught Dog have put some time and effort into the it and not just tacked it for the sake of having it or to try and boost sales.

inFamous Demo Gameplay

I’m back with more new gameplay, this time its the turn of the PS3 exclusive inFamous. I have two videos up for your viewing pleasure, one with the entire intro sequence and another with a mission where you have move a train full of people to a safe location using only the power of your electrified body. Enjoy

On a side note you will notice both the videos are in HD that’s because i just became the proud owner of a hd capture card and this is the first video i have recorded with it. So bare with me if the quality is a bit ass, I’m still working on my encoding technique. (all tips are welcome)
