The trailer shows gameplay footage and what appears to be the health system although no HUD is shown this maybe, because there giving it a cutscene feel however this trailer is funny as hell so enjoy.

Kevin Butler Presents Moves From The Future

In this video Kevin Butler of Sony showcases some of the features which make “Move” unique. And I must say, that seeing this video actually impressed me way more than what they showed at GDC. The fighting motion looked on point; and like Kevin Butler himself implies, it’s not just shaking a controller mindlessly. Kevin even goes on to fire shots at Microsoft’s Project Natal as he asks the question “who wants to pretend their hand is a gun?”. I have to give ol KB some props, he knows how to make this whole “Move” thing look even more appealing. So take a step into the future with Kevin Butler, I bet you’ll consider the Move way more than you ever did before.

First 10 Minutes of Twisted Pixel’s Comic Jumper

PAX East is right around the corner and Twisted Pixel is building up hype for it’s anticipated Comic Jumper game. When this title was first announced, I had no idea what to expect, but now I’m even more gassed up after watching the PAX East demo. The gameplay takes us into the first comic you will ‘jump’ into which is “The Adventures of Captain Smiley.” Fans at PAX East will be let in on even more information regarding the game, so if you will be there please visit booth #601. Best indie/digital release this year, I’m calling it. Ha, at that ringtone!

The demo consists of the game’s protagonists Captain Smiley and Star moving through the first comic book, The Adventures of Captain Smiley, where they must thwart a bank robbery by the crazed Dr. Winklemeyer and Smiley’s arch-nemesis Brad. The first comic features tons of written dialog and voice acting, graphics that conjure the epic splash-page comics from the 90’s, gameplay modes ranging from melee to shooting to riding a Brad-bot down the side of a building, intense panel-jumping transitions, and an unforgettable Brad theme song that you hear while doing battle with Brad before the demo comes to a close.

EA has released an urgent public service announcement for Battlefield: Bad Company 2. The reason for the announcement is to try and tackle the growing problem of Frag Spam aka Nade Spam. Everyone has experienced this form of spam in one form or another but the people at EA and Dice have come up with a simple solution. Watch as New York Yankees player CC Sabathia explains the problem and demonstrates the solution.

Splinter Cell: Conviction Demo Due Out This Thursday

The Koalitions Final Fantasy XIII Launch Party Official Footage

This past Tuesday, Final Fantasy XIII was released simultaneously in the western world. To celebrate the release of the game, HMV held an exclusive launch party in London (Oxford Circus). The producer (Yoshinori Kitase) and the art director (Isamu Kamikokuryo) of the game came all the way to London to sign autographs for all their hardcore fans in the UK. Of course I had to go there, to get you guys some exclusive coverage from the event.

In this video you’ll see interviews with fans, cheer’s and boo’s and the full show hosted by popular UK personally Alex Zane. I have also attached some pictures from the event. There wasn’t too much cosplay, but there was some. So right after you see all this footage make sure you go check out my colleague Jowin’s music video Cosplay Girl.

I would like to give a shout out to Marty, who was a fan at the party. We interviewed him, and we even helped him get some extra stuff signed. It felt great to do something for the fans. Thanks also to Liam Mcmahon (from HMV) for all the help and support.

Final Fantasy Fans Boo The Xbox 360 At Final Fantasy XIII Launch Party

This past Tuesday I was present at the Final Fantasy XIII launch party in London Oxford Circus, in which the producer Yoshinori Kitase and art director Isamu Kamikokuryo were present. Before the signings were held from the producer and art director, they held a competition on stage. When the presenter Alex Zane announced that the prize was an Xbox 360 Final Fantasy bundle, the whole crowd erupted with boo’s. Keep in mind that the crowd was full of nothing but hardcore Final Fantasy fans.

Brink Cinematic Trailer

We have not seen much of Brink for a while but today i got an email containing a new cinematic trailer for the first-person shooter developed by Splash Damage. The video shows off some good looking CG with plenty of parkour, guns and explosions. Check it out below.

Brink will be smashing its way into stores this Fall for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Be sure to check it out.

Blur Beta Gameplay

If you somehow never managed to grab one of the Blur beta codes we were giving away all last week, here is your chance to see what the game looks like in motion. The video below shows me taking part in a 12 player race on the Badlands racetrack. It was a pretty boring race if i have to be honest, once i got out in front i was gone, it seemed like the other players forgot i was even there. lol

My overall opinion of the Beta is, It was fun for a while but i quickly became bored. I don’t know if it was the lack of tracks, cars or perks but it never really grabbed me like i thought it would. I am now going to focus my attention on Blur’s rival racer Split/Second.

What do you think of the beta? Is it good enough to warrant a cop? or has the beta confirmed that the game is a flop? Leave your impressions in the comments.

Check out this funny video of a Youtuber by the name of Treezy504. In the song him and his homie Tha-Truth do a comedy version of Drakes “Forever” song, talking about beating video games. It’s quite hilarious so make sure you give it a watch, I literally LOL’d at the part about Demon Souls. Is that game really that difficult?

Leaked Halo: Reach Trailer Is Full Of Win

Well the leaks for big games seem to have spread, first we got some new footage of God of War 3 and now we have a new trailer for Halo: Reach. This video comes via a Taiwanese website and features assassinations, new weapons and a few of new game modes. Could this be the multiplayer bomb Bungie have been hyping up or do they have something else in the Halo locker for us to see?. I guess we will find out soon.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is finally on store shelves in America and to celebrate EA has released a launch trailer for the game. I don’t know about you but while watching this trailer i was reminded of that epic Killzone 2 slow-mo trailer, you know the one with the classical music playing.

More God of War 3 Footage Hits The Internet

Attention God of War 3 fans, Today a little more footage from the game has hit the Internet via Youtube user BeCkS1688. The video shows the Poseidon battle, a first person kill and a few other juicy tidbits. As you may expect this video contains many spoilers so if you are on God of War 3 media blackout I highly suggest you fight the urge to watch this, or at least try for a few minutes.

Also YouTube will probably remove this quickly so if you just need to see it, the time is now.

Ignition Entertainment Reveal Blacklight: Tango Down

It looks like Ignition Entertainment and Zombie Studios are trying to take the downloadable game scene to a new level with their new game Blacklight: Tango Down. Running off the Unreal 3 game engine and set in a universe called Blacklight the game hopes to capture some of the massive first person shooter market by offering gamers everything they would expect to get in a full retail game but in a downloadable package.

“Blacklight: Tango Down is a fast-paced first person shooter based in a new fictional universe called Blacklight. Utilizing the cutting-edge graphical power of Unreal Engine 3, Blacklight: Tango Down’s near-future setting is brought to life with disturbingly detailed and old-world architecture dripping with modern sci-fi lighting and brightly lit advertisements, an effect that causes each environment to appear both futuristically alien as well as hauntingly familiar.

Blacklight: Tango Down will deliver some of the most exciting multiplayer gameplay available in the shooter category and features numerous gameplay styles and functionality. These modes include traditional formats like Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch & Control Point, with other modes being .announced in the build up to launch.

Blacklight: Tango Down will set itself apart from other games by virtue of its incredibly deep customization features. Players will be able to alter and upgrade not only their character through experience gained on the battlefield, but also their weapons. Blur Social Gameplay Trailer

With the BLUR beta starting tomorrow, PGR creators Bizarre Creations have released a new video showcasing the social elements of BLUR. These include 4 player split screen races, tons of custom race options and everyone’s favorite, 1vs1 races. I have my beta code for the game already so check back on the site tomorrow for some gameplay footage.

BLUR has a placeholder release date of sometime in Spring 2010 and will be avaliable on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.

Just Cause 2 Mid-Air Sabotage Video

Eidos have released another “Anatomy Of A Stunt” video for the open world destruction fest that is Just Cause 2. This one is all about Sabotage, Mid-Air Sabotage to be exact. As you can probably guess from the name this takes place in mid-air and features two jet and some timed explosives.

Just Cause 2 is set to parachute into stores on March 23rd, 2010, in North America and March 26th, 2010, in Europe. There will also be a demo available on March 4th on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network.

Metro 2033 Kill Or Be Killed Trailer

THQ have released another trailer for their post apocalyptic first person shooter Metro 2033. This one comes with the tag line “Kill Or Be Killed” and going from what was shown in the trailer, that statement looks to be very accurate. Metro 2033 is scheduled to hit North American stores on March 16th, and European stores on March 19th for PC and Xbox 360.

p.s Does anyone think of Fallout 3 or Stalker when you watch videos for this game or is that just me?.

Splinter Cell: Conviction is more than a month away from its release date, but Splinter Cell’s exposure is increasing every week. EA, today announced an all-new campaign map pack called “Chapters of Deceit” for the co-op third person shooter Army of Two: The 40th Day. The new pack will contain two brand new co-op campaign maps and will cost you $9.99 on the PlayStation Network or 800 Microsoft Points when it launches on April Fools Day, that’s April 1st for those of you who don’t know.

New developer diary released on Backbreaker, and guess what its about? Yes, the Euphoria Engine. Again. OK, we get it. The engine looks realistic, real nervous systems, joint movements etc. What about the gameplay? The only thing I know about this game is it will be animated well. You guys need to get people excited more about this title besides its animation engine.
