Ezio is finally here and to celebrate Ubisoft decided to release a new trailer showcasing all the things that make Assassin’s Creed 2 great.

After watching the video i am really glad i decided to buy this game over Left 4 Dead 2, especially since Swiff dropped a Steam code for Left 4 Dead 2 in my mail box yesterday. Anyway enjoy the launch trailer below.

Left 4 Dead 2 Gameplay

The homie Swiff hooked me up with a steam code for Left 4 Dead 2 which of course means I recorded some footage for all of you out there still on the fence about buying the game. There are two videos showing two different levels, the first video shows me fighting my way through an apartment block on the way to a mall. In The second video you get to see me down at the swamp fighting off hordes of zombies with my trusty uzi.

Assassin’s Creed – Lineage Full Movie

With Assassin’s Creed 2 only 4 days away from release, Ubisoft has released the full edition of the Lineage short film. The film is suppose to explain the backstory to Assassin’s Creed 2 in detail and prepare you for what’s ahead in the acclaimed sequel. Thus far the marketing campaign has picked up heavily within the last couple weeks and promises to deliver a totally improved gameplay experience over the first game. Here is a brief overview of the synopsis along with video.

Overall synopsis:

When the Duke of Milan is brutally murdered, Giovanni Auditore an Assassin – is dispatched to investigate the crime. His mission: determine who is responsible and why. The answers he uncovers implicate Italys most powerful families reaching all the way back to the Vatican itself. As Giovanni draws closer to the truth, he becomes hunted himself. He must expose the conspirators before he joins their ever growing list of victims This is the Prequel to the Assassins Creed 2 Story.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Multiplayer Beta Gameplay

While every FPS fan anxiously awaits Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 next week, its hard to ignore that Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is going to make an impact early next year. Given how successful the first outing was, it appears EA has bumped everything up a notch for the sequel. As I recall, the sound and ability to damage areas have always been its strongest points along with the impressive visuals. Check out the latest gameplay from the multiplayer beta below and you’ll get an idea of what to expect. Which game do you guys think will be a better multiplayer experience? This game is the coolest Indie game to look forward to at the moment, this footage is from the Eurogamer Expo 2009 which we have been covering this past week here on The Koalition. Check out this 5 minute gameplay footage of the game, and also check the latest episode of Gametime to see the interview with Sean Murray the games managing director.

The game had Ruthless kid very excited, and for good reason. The game is dope, so good that you cant even believe it’s an indie game. Joe Danger is an indie game that you would think was a full disk distributed game. Just watch the video to see why.

We had a couple more interviews but due to the noise from the expo, the quality of these interviews have been damaged. I’m just very bitter that all Ruthless kid’s interviews came out perfect and mine were ruined. Props to Ruthless on his interviewing skills though, enjoy this episode.

Halo enthusiasts will be happy to know that Bungie is poised to drop HALO WAYPOINT today exclusively over Xbox Live. We have included a brief overview of what you can expect from the free download. The application is meant to act as a stat and achievement tracker of all your accomplishments in every Halo game for the Xbox 360 including Halo 3, Halo Wars, and Halo 3:ODST. There is also a promise of daily content from the Halo universe, including sneak peeks into the upcoming anime series, Halo Legends. If you were fortunate enough to gain early access to the next Xbox Live update then more then likely you already downloaded this addition. The only question left to wonder is if this application will be enough to convince people to once again jump into the role of Master Chief or instead build anticipation for the next installment in the series, Halo Reach. In any case this may soon be forgotten as the impending release of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is only a few days away. Ultimately only time and Xbox Live’s top ten list numbers will tell.

Check out this video of UK Grime artist JME (the brother of Skepta) playing Street Fighter IV displaying his skills. He shows his 100 hit Shoryuken; BUT, its just in practice mode. So JME if you see this come and try that with some real gamers, at the same time I don’t doubt JME’s skills as I know he is a pure gamer just by following his tweets on Twitter.

Left 4 Dead 2 Demo Gameplay & Impressions

Game Developer VALVE is poised to unleash more FPS Zombie madness with the release of Left 4 Dead 2 on the Xbox 360 and the PC. With the impending release date set to drop on November 17th, we here at the Koalition were able to create impressions based off the demo gameplay.

Once you begin the demo you have the option of playing the campaign in either single player or cooperative mode. The opening level that you play on is The Parish, the New Orleans themed setting first talked about with the announcement of the sequel. The gameplay experience is very similar to the original Left 4 Dead, but the addition of Melee weapons to your arsenal takes everything up a notch. You can string together several combos by using different melee weapons such as frying pans, and swords. These tools come in handy when faced with zombies who wear protective shield police attire. It’s also worth noting that the computer controlled partners are more helpful when starting out and can save and heal you more drastically if you take too much damage.

The A.I. is a little chaotic at times and becomes increasingly challenging when faced by hordes of enemies. There are also variations in zombies you face off against which include the Hunters and Smokers. Overall the experience is shaping up to be an addictive, fun game that will require strategy to survive as a group.

Grand Theft Auto 4: The Ballad Of Gay Tony “Sprunk Base Jumping” Trailer

Rockstar Games have released another new trailer for Grand Theft Auto 4: The Ballad Of Gay Tony. This one showcases the Sprunk sponsored base jumping event from the annual Liberty City Z-Games, Yes that is Rockstar’s take on the X-Games competition. The great thing about this trailer is that it also doubles as a kind of reveal trailer for a new multiplayer mode which allows up to 16 players to take part in the event over Xbox Live.

The Ballad Of Gay Tony is set to superman its way onto Xbox Live next week for 1600 Microsoft Points, not a bad price for unlimited hours of explosive fun.

Don’t have Grand Theft Auto? well Rockstar has you covered as well. All you have to do is head out to your local game store and pickup Episodes From Liberty City. Buying that will allow you to play through both episodes of the Xbox 360 exclusive downloadable content without the need for the original Grand Theft Auto IV DVD.

An Amazing New Left 4 Dead 2 Video Leaks Onto The Internet

That’s right folks someone at Valve is going to be handed there walking papers very soon after this amazing new Left 4 Dead 2 video mysteriously leaked onto the Internet. My first thoughts on the video were, is this the entire intro cinematic for Left 4 Dead 2? or is this just an amazing trailer?. The good money’s on this being the intro cinematic because it just looks a little too polished for an ordinary trailer. What do you think? Intro or just another trailer. Leave your thought below.

The Saboteur Sneaks Out Some New Screenshots & A Trailer

Pandemic Studios have released a bunch of new screenshots and a gameplay video titled “Just Getting Started” for the open world action game The Saboteur. If you are unfamiliar with this game the following excerpt may help you get a grip of what the game is about.

“The Saboteur is an entirely new take on WWII action gaming. Instead of putting players in the role of a soldier, they’ll experience one man’s quest for vengeance through an incredible story and an epic range of explosive action. Every street of Paris is alive with options, every block is teeming with action,” said Josh Resnick, President of Pandemic Studios. “We’re extremely proud of The Saboteur. The art style, intense story, and grand acts of defiance against the Nazis will deliver the one-of-a-kind experience that Pandemic fans have been waiting for.”

The Saboteur will be available in Europe on December 4th and everywhere else on December 8th.
