In an interview with Kotaku this week, EA CEO, John Riccitiello, says that he feels Mirror’s Edge “deserves to come back”. First artist portfolio leaks now this? It is becoming safe to assume that the Mirror’s Edge series will see another iteration in the near future, and possibly, better, and longer (MUCH longer) than the original.

Riccitiello went on to tell Kotaku,  “We’re still working through things like how to best deal with Mirror’s Edge 2…there are some things we learned about that [first] game. It was, I think, a massively innovative product…”

I found the original Mirror’s Edge to be very innovative as far as the concept went, but it felt empty and lacking in many areas. So much more could have been done. EA, hopefully, will give the first-person parkour game a second shot.
