After what seemed like an eternity waiting for EA’s big franchise to be released on the App Store, we’ve finally reached an endpoint. Need For Speed: Undercover was released in the App Store mere hours ago, marking EA’s first real big-name franchise release for the iPhone and iPod touch. It weighs at a larger-than-average size of 92.3MB for a premium price of $9.99. I wouldn’t doubt for a second that EA’s racer will chart its way up to the top of the App Store list. For such a visually engaging title, built for the iDevices from the ground up type gameplay, it may well sit atop the Mount Everest of mobile gaming. We’ve already got our hands on EA’s big debut, so you’re likely to read the only opinion you’ll need from The Koalition within the week.
