Now that Square-Enix has got Final Fantasy XIII out of the way, they are ready to put their time and effort on Final Fantasy XIV Online. FFXI online has been around for more than five years, but it’s time to upgrade the Final Fantasy online experience to something that represents the advancements of today’s generation. To help Square-Enix do that, sign-ups for beta testing for FFXIV are now being taken for North America, Europe, and a few other region specific areas. The beta is for PC gaming only so don’t look for any Xbox or PlayStation sections. You might see a beta for consoles one day, but for now PC is what it’s all about.
