The God of War franchise has been loved and praised by gamers in the last generation of consoles. With God of War 3 approaching next March, Sony feels they should reacquaint gamers with Kratos. This is where the God of War Collection comes in. The release will feature an upgraded version of both God of War and God of War 2 for your PS3. Both games will run at 60 frames a second on a 1280 by 720 resolution, and I almost forgot the game will have trophy support. Both games will come in a single blu-ray disc for the low price of $40 later this holiday. I already own both games on the PS2 but I gotta admit, I never even completed either one and I’m not the type of person to pop in an old ass game so this God Of War Collection might get purchased by me.
Scheduled for release this holiday season, God of War Collection will feature reworked versions of both God of War® and God of War® II on a single Blu-ray Disc™ at full 1280 x 720 resolution. Both critically acclaimed games, which were originally developed for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system, have been remastered with anti-aliased graphics running at 60 frames per second for a smooth gameplay experience on the PS3 system. Additionally, the Blu-ray Disc compilation will bring PlayStation®Network (PSN) trophy support to the franchise for the first time (included for both games). God of War Collection offers substantial value to PS3 consumers, the compilation of both best-selling games costing just $39.99 MSRP.
