Most racing fans hoped Gran Turismo 5 would be shown at Sony’s E3 conference today and it was but not in the form most wanted. However the trailer that was shown revealed that the WRC “World Rally Cars” and Nascar will be making appearances in the game.

In my opinion the reveal 1up’s Forza 3’s good showing yesterday and it has my mind going crazy with what other crazy shit Polyphony Digital have in store for us. Watch the reveal trailer below.

No word on a release date for Gran Turismo 5 yet but its looking more and more likely to be a 2010 game. Boo.
