Halo enthusiasts will be happy to know that Bungie is poised to drop HALO WAYPOINT today exclusively over Xbox Live. We have included a brief overview of what you can expect from the free download. The application is meant to act as a stat and achievement tracker of all your accomplishments in every Halo game for the Xbox 360 including Halo 3, Halo Wars, and Halo 3:ODST. There is also a promise of daily content from the Halo universe, including sneak peeks into the upcoming anime series, Halo Legends. If you were fortunate enough to gain early access to the next Xbox Live update then more then likely you already downloaded this addition. The only question left to wonder is if this application will be enough to convince people to once again jump into the role of Master Chief or instead build anticipation for the next installment in the series, Halo Reach. In any case this may soon be forgotten as the impending release of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is only a few days away. Ultimately only time and Xbox Live’s top ten list numbers will tell.
