Square Enix London Studios today announced that they have finally chosen a release date for the highly anticipated sequel to Just Cause. Just Cause 2 will be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Games For Windows next March 23rd in America with Europe and other regions following along three days after, which is March 26th for those of you too lazy to count.

“Just Cause 2 offers the freedom to explore and tackle the world in any way you choose”, said Lee Singleton, General Manager of Square Enix London Studios. “The grapple and the parachute mechanic will change the way you play open-world games, allowing players to be in the air in seconds, tackling missions from above and using the aerial advantage. If you prefer to stay on solid ground, the choices offered by the grapple are limited only by your imagination.”

Along with the release date news Square Enix London sent out a few new screenshots for the game which of course you can check out below.
