The first Kane & Lynch didn’t live up to what people expected much. But with this much needed time and more money I assume from Square Enix, they will be back to make this game what it was supposed to be. The sequel titled Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days will be a different experience according to the release. And with games like Uncharted 2 setting the bar high with movie like theatrics, I fully expect this game to surpass it. Keyword: expect. Meaning if the game does not live up to expectations its time to call it a wrap. Don’t you think? Full press release and video teasers below.

Wednesday 18th November/…IO Interactive, part of Square Enix Europe is pleased to confirm that Kane & Lynch 2™: Dog Days is coming to PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and Windows PC in 2010.

Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days is a raw and brutal crime shooter designed to take players on an even more intense story experience, following two of gaming’s most disturbed criminals, through the gritty Shanghai underworld.

Introducing a new visual experience, Kane & Lynch 2™: Dog Days is inspired by documentary filmmakers and the user-generated era. Every aspect of the game has been designed to deliver a fresh perspective to the words ‘intensity’ and ‘realism’ in video games.

   ill look out for it, i actually didnt mind the first one. But judging by the amount of AAA games next year, this might get lost in the shuffle.

   This game will be a flop certified, gamers will not support this game at all, Square Enix will make sure they release this to die watch.

   The first game I played like years later and it was so basic and generic in nature, it wasn’t bad I seen worse but the game deserved exactly what it got.

   Now this will flop ALONG WITH THE MOVIE that is coming and that will be it for this IP, Square Enix will put it under the rug.
