Hideo Kojima, Japanese Video Game Designer Extraordinaire is rethinking his attack strategy on the world. In a recent interview he said.
“We’re currently reviewing everything in order to make Kojima Productions a team that can challenge foreign creators and software houses. Because of that, 2009 is going to be a very important year for us.”
Said Hideo Kojima to Famitsu.
“I’ve thought a lot about how Western games have been winning, looking at it from a global perspective, and there are things that I’ve noticed, I’ve come to understand that the way we’ve made games up until now won’t translate globally, and I’ve come to think that I need to make Kojima Productions a team that can compete alongside the rest of the world.”

With “Snake” from the money cow known as the Metal Gear Series now retired it seems that Kojima like The California Gold Rush of 1849 is SCREAMING “Westward Expansion.”
What really is grinding within this genious of the video game gridiron only he knows, but we are free to speculate.
What do you think he means by this new revalation!
