It hasn’t even been a year since Left 4 Dead took Xbox 360 by storm. the game was an instant hit and stayed in the top 10 NPD for a couple of months. Valve is ready to go with Left 4 Dead 2. The game was announced with a trailer during the Microsoft press conference at E3. New characters, new zombie enemies, new weapons, and tons more The game will be exclusively on Xbox 360 and PC and will be available on November 17, 2009. Setting:

Left 4 Dead 2 is set at roughly the same time as the original – just after the outbreak that turned most of the population into various zombie mutants. Players assume the role of 4 new “Survivors,” each with their own personality and new dialog. The game leads these “Survivors” through the southeastern region of the US – from Savannah, Georgia thru the bayou country, and climaxing in New Orleans’ French Quarter.
