In a move that should surprise no one, Take Two Interactive has once again pushed back the release of Max Payne 3. Those of you looking forward to getting your hands on Max early next year will now have to wait until some time between August and October 2010, which is almost a year later than its original release window. It’s not all bad news though, Take Two’s other major titles (Red Dead Redemption, Bioshock 2 and Mafia II) are still on track to arrive in the first half of next year and there’s always the likes of Dante’s Inferno and God of War 3 to satisfy your blood lust.
With GTA’s decline in popularity and BioShock 2′s lukewarm reception Max Payne just might be Take Two and Rockstar’s last hope, let’s hope the additional delevopment time will be used to make MP 3 truly something special.
