This is no trying to be mario........this game is like you move around an actual toy in a virtual world made out of toy set pieces.

Mario is traditional side scrolling, that has no actual real life physics or anything like that, you're just going forward as code by the devs.

Mario will never go fully LBP, they already swagga jacked LBP whole play together structure, but I think the nintendo creator wouldn't let you ruin the image of their iconic characters.

This is true, no need to deal with a L4D type situation.

I think they rather make a new IP then make another one of these, which

can just be filled with DLC forever anyways and re-released over and over.

Your jumps are floaty and inconsistant, it's easy to get stuck behind items that are in the foreground or background and the physics are way off

the controls hurt the game? really?
how?

you run, you jump, you grab, you place items where you want them...seems simple enough imo.

I was playing LBP a few days ago, some of the levels that their community has managed to create are pure genius, I just think the controls hurt the experience

nintendo needs to make a create your own mario game
