In a bid to 1up Sony this holiday season, Microsoft have confirmed a 250GB version of their Xbox 360 with Modern Warfare 2 AND an extra wireless controller packed in will see a limited release from November 10th for only $399. Xbox Live’s Major Nelson took center stage to unveil this new bundle during a Call Of Duty event last night where Microsoft also announced they have timed exclusivity for the first two Modern Warfare 2 map packs.

There’s no denying this bundle has substantial value and it boggles the mind to think that just a few years ago obtaining 250GB’s worth of memory for the Xbox 360 would have cost over $1200. With this new bundle, the PS3 slim and a Wii price drop this holiday season it’s going to be incredibly interesting to see which company “wins” 2009.
