Everyone naturally assumed that this year’s biggest title would have a beta. Call of Duty 4 had one and it was the driving force behind its monstrous sales. People spent more time playing that beta than paying attention to their boyfriend/girlfriend.
This time around you can give them more attention, at least until the game comes out. Activision tipped off the homies at CVG and basically came out and said there will be no beta for Modern Warfare 2. Many people are already tired of Activision’s big business schemes as of late, especially when the CEO was quoted as saying that he would raise game prices if it was up to him, but this doesn’t bother me. Just gives me more time with other good games that I might not have had otherwise. How do you feel? Comment below.
