Music Videos That Should Appear In Def Jam Rapstar

DJ Hero was a great interactive game for Hip Hop. Scratch: The Ultimate DJ aims to take that concept even further, if or when it is released. But there is one interactive Hip Hop game that is heavily overlooked, and that is Def Jam Rapstar. After getting to play it months ago I have been hyped for the game ever since, because this game really puts you in the shoes of a ‘Rap Star’. When me and my Koalition brothers got to preview the game, there was only a small selection of music videos in that specific build of the game. Many of them were songs I didn’t really like too much. They had Hypnotize by Notorious B.I.G, which I wish was the video that Randy Ledet chose to battle me on, because he would have got destroyed. Instead he chose “I Put On” by Young Jeezy, in which I got completely annihilated on. As you may know, I prefer that hardcore east coast kind of sound.

With that being said, I have compiled a short list of music videos I would love to spit over myself on the game. Whether these specific videos appear or not, I am confident that 4MM and Def Jam Interactive will host some of the dopest Hip Hop tracks in the game upon it’s release, and even after it’s release (DLC). The key thing to remember is that Def Jam Rapstar wont just feature Def Jam related tracks, they told me themselves that it won’t matter which record label owns the rights to the songs, they can still have them in the game.
