Attention all producers and MCs! 2K Sports and Duck Down Records are holding a contest to see who they want to be on the soundtrack to NBA 2K11. The producer portion of the contest starts today. Producers have two weeks to submit a track (can not be sampled) to nba2k11@duckdown.com by March 22nd. Producers can also record a video of the process if they want to.
The MC portion of the contest starts on April 6th. They are to make a song out of the winning producers beat. Submissions must be sent in by May 4th. The winner will have their song on NBA2k11 and have the opportunity to perform live at Duck Down’s CMJ Showcase in October 2010.
Sounds pretty enticing. I might enter this myself if time permits. Opportunity of a lifetime. For more details check Duckdown.com.
