Cheif of Acclaim Dave Perry has unveiled plans to reveal a video game streaming service. Dave says that he was planning to reveal this service at E3, but the Onlive announcement has forced him to give out his information early.
Speaking to VentureBeat, Perry claims that his solution to streaming games is better than Onlive as you do not need any software, you just require a broadband connection. He also points out that Onlive has been in development for many years, possibly suggesting that his solution was produced more recently.
Patents for Perry’s new service have already been filed, and Perry now seeks to hire more programming staff to fine tune his gem.
