The Iphone was previously exclusive to O2 in the UK, meaning you would have to be on that network if you wanted an Iphone. Well now Apple have signed deal with both Vodaphone and Orange within two days. What does this mean? Well now the Iphone is available to a whole lot more people, which is good for Apple for many reasons. The Application and game market on the Iphone is about to see a whole lot more customers, and it will boost the Iphone further as the top hand held devices on the market. I’m just waiting for them to sign a deal with T-mobile.

Whether or not you consider the Iphone to be a gaming device, It is definitely doing big numbers as far as games, which benefits developers. Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo definitely need to start looking at Apple as a contender.
