Capcom have confirmed that King of the Courtroom Phoenix Wright will be making his way to Wii-Ware early next year. The first three games in the Ace Attorney series are set to be released in January, March & May (respectively) for the super-low price of $10 .

If you’re unfamiliar with Ace Attorney franchise they are essentially court-room adventure games where players take the role of defense attorney Phoenix Wright. It’s your job to talk to witnesses, follow clues and discover evidence which can presented in court to prove your clients innocence.

Other games in the series include Ace Attorney: Apollo Justice and the upcoming Ace Attorney Investigations, but as of now those titles remain DS exclusives.  As a huge, huge Ace Attorney fan I’m both excited and interested to see how well these games translate to the big screen but at this point I have nothing but faith in Capcom.

Hopefully announcements regarding the European release dates and an iPhone version are forthcoming.

   yessur… i hope the Wii version holds up as well as the DS games, i think an iPhone or PSP version would make much more sense
