The Prince is here! Ubisoft has announced the next Prince of Persia game in the series entitled, The Forgotten Sands. According to the press release, the game will feature many of the fan favorite elements in the original game. No screens, and no trailer yet. But if you plan to watch this years VGA’s on Spike on Dec 12th, then you’ll see the world premier trailer of the game. The game is due out in May 2010, on consoles and handhelds, so that it coincides with the Prince of Persia film. May 2010 will be a good month for you Pop fans. Me? I never been a big fan of Pop but I have faith in that movie, its Disney.

LONDON, UK – November 30, 2009 – Today Ubisoft announced that Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands™ video game is in development and is scheduled to be released May 2010 for consoles and handhelds. This new instalment in the critically-acclaimed franchise marks the return to the Prince of Persia® Sands of Time storyline. Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands™ will feature many of the fan-favorite elements from the original series as well as new gameplay innovations that gamers have come to expect from the Prince of Persia brand.

   yessirrrr i’m a PoP fan can’t wait although i hope it goes away from the cell shaded animation/graphics anyway it shud be good!
