Video games movies have a long track record of taking L’s when it comes to quality, but all that is about to change. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is looking like the biggest blockbuster movie of 2010 in my opinion. If you don’t believe me just watch the trailer below. This movie is directed by Jerry Bruckheimer, aka the Pirates of the Caribbean dude. The music is composed by the man, the myth, the genius, Harry Gregson Williams. How can you go wrong with this combination?

yeah I posted this on the BX yesterday, looks good but this is hollywood + gaming so 9 times out of 10 a movie it will be mediocre.

I’ll say it now, get your hopes down. Hollywood never delivers on video game movies. While this looks better then expected, I wouldn’t completely agree it will be the hottest movie next year. There are a ton of movies that have yet to be confirmed for 2010 that will give this a run for its money.
