Xbox Live general manager Marc Whitten let it be known that not only will Project Natal change gaming, but television as well.

“With the flick of my wrist I can change a channel,” Whitten said. “With the power of my voice I can start a movie.”

Usually I would joke about a feature like this, but this time I’m pretty hyped. Changing channels with the flick of a wrist is some cool shit, I don’t care where you stand in the next gen battle.  The voice commands are ok, I can order pizza by voice command with my Black Berry, no big deal. What cannot be ignored however, is the fact that gaming will be the first medium to use this type of technology in a mass market. I remember watching old cable shows when I was younger about what the future would be like, this is it (no MJ).

“I don’t believe we are currently in the golden age of the television or the golden age of the game console or the golden age of the Internet; frankly, five years from now I don’t know that you’ll be able to tell the difference between those worlds,” Whitten added.

I don't think outside of the box. Because if I did then that would presume I was already in one. Co Founder Of The Koalition.
