Sony has just announced a delay of their own. No, not a game but like the title says, the PS3 motion controller will now see the light of day sometime in Fall 2010. It was suppose to be out this Spring, but not much news about it has been released so I can’t say this delay really comes as a surprise.
“We have decided to release the Motion Controller in fall 2010 when we will be able to offer an exciting and varied line-up of software titles that will deliver the new entertainment experience to PS3 users,” says Kaz Hirai, boss of Sony Computer Entertainment.
“We will continue to work to have a comprehensive portfolio of attractive and innovative games for the Motion Controller, not only from SCE Worldwide Studios but also from the third party developers and publishers, whom we have been working closely with. We look forward to soon unveiling the exciting software line-up that further expand and define the PS3 platform as the ultimate entertainment system for the home”.
Looks like Natal and PS3 motion controller, rumored to be called Arc, will go head to head this fall. Even though this delay is no surprise to me, it does raise some questions. Was the PS3 motion controller exclusive game not finished? Lets be frank, we know Microsoft and Sony have an exclusive game to go along with these new motion controls. Or is someone scared to jump first? All I know is that I want to know more about both. I’m curious to see how the casuals react to the wand and Natal just seems to good to be true so far, I know there’s a fuck up somewhere in that idea. This will be a very interesting fall to say the least.

Great, now we can see both of these stupid gimmicks fall flat on their faces at the exact time!
But what I said sticks, MS will fall harder because casuals are used to WII LIKE motion and only SONY
has that stupidity on their side, what MS has is just plain retarded and casuals will not be feeling that after
all of these years of Wii, MS better delay their shit and add a controller as an option or they could see
their biggest flop since XBOX 1.
Sony will see their biggest flop since PSP GO, but they will grasp something MS can't with their bullshit
THE JAPAN MARKET, so it will get some traction and what not but in the end both of these ADD-ONS
will be seen as the biggest mistakes MS/SONY tried this generation, Nintendo will laugh this Fall.
