After seeing Dante’s Inferno up close at E3 and viewing the latest trailer its no secret the game is cut from the God Of War cloth. But is there a chance EA may out do the Sony exclusive? Which leads to this weeks much needed opinions. So answer this question and discuss this with the team in our new forums: If Dante’s Inferno becomes a wild success and lives up to the hype, will it take value away from the God Of War brand?
Also, we will be taking selected responses to share on our next podcast. Be on the lookout for that. The forums are still in BETA so if you see a few glitches here and there, no worries.

Twitter and Facebook users do not need too do this.

As much as I love GoW I’m hoping that 3 will be the last one
the story has been told in my opinion and I feel that any further game after 3 will just dilute the franchize unless they can do something different and original with it
As for Dante I don’t know much about it and I probably won’t be able to speak on it with any confidence until I actually try out the game for myself
I wouldnt even compare them too much at all….Dante’s Inferno is based on a poem, therefore I feel it will be a very short lived experience. It has a great presentation and looks like it is going to be a very stunning game.
But I dont feel It will match God Of War in terms of a fully packaged video game experience.
Dante’s Inferno is loosely based on a poem, very loosely. Looks great, but I doubt it’ll match up to God of War’s stellar reputation as the #1 hack’n’slash action game.
But who knows, the devs of Dante’s Inferno did Dead Space and that was a great game.
