Developed by award winning Relic Entertainment, Dawn of War II ushers in a new chapter in the acclaimed Real-Time Strategy series – taking players to the brutal frontlines of war to lead an elite strike force on a mission to save the galaxy.
It is the 41st Millennium in Sub-Sector Aurelia – a cluster of worlds on the edge of the Galaxy – and a battle of epic proportions is about to begin. Ancient races will clash across the planets that dot this section of space, battling for the greatest of stakes – not only the claim to the land and its bounty – but the fate of each race.
With a focus on fast-action RTS gameplay, Dawn of War II brings to life the science fiction universe of Warhammer 40,000 like never before. Experience the intimate brutality of battle as you play through the epic campaign. Clash with enemies on battlefields ablaze with visceral hand-to-hand and ranged combat. Lead and develop your squads into the most battle hardened elite strike force in the Galaxy.
If you like Real-Time Strategy then this is for you; and if you don’t then this is a great game to bring you into the genre. Not only does Warhammer feature enjoyable gameplay that’s easy to train newbs into the whole RTS style, but it also gets very complex as things move on. Warhammer also has a story that will interest you, so pick this one up.

What if the Soviet Union hadn’t collapsed and instead made a decisive advance into Europe? NATO forces clash with the Red Army and a second front is opened up as the Soviets launch an attack on continental United States. You will find yourself taking on the role of a commander in the epic conflict, controlling the most powerful and technologically advanced military hardware of the time. This is WORLD IN CONFLICT®. The unique design and universal appeal is what led global media to make WORLD IN CONFLICT® the most critically acclaimed strategy game of 2007. The game swept the «Best Strategy» awards during E3 2007, claimed countless «Editor’s Choice» commendations from the world’s top reviewers, and was the clear choice as «Best Strategy Game of 2007» during the end of year awards season.
Although an old game considering it was released in 2007, World in conflict got an amazing expansion pack this year (soviet assault). I know all you ‘newbs’ that are used to your controllers would prefer your military games to be first person shooter based, but this game does an outstanding job as far as the combat elements.

Neverwinter Nights™ 2 is the sequel to one of the best-selling and genre-defining role-playing games ever, set in the popular Dungeons & Dragons® Forgotten Realms™ universe created by Wizards of the Coast.
Bards sing tales of heroes from ages past, but never have the Forgotten Realms so desperately needed a champion. Years have passed since the war between Luskan and Neverwinter, almost enough time for the wounds of war to heal. But the brief peace the Realms have known may be at an end. Tension growing between the mighty city-states means the Sword Coast again teeters on the edge of open war. Unnoticed, a greater danger stalks the City of Skilled Hands. Unbeknownst to the denizens of the North, deep in the Mere of Dead Men, dark forces from across the Realms have been rallied under the banner of a legendary evil. If left unchallenged, all of the North is doomed to fall under its power.
Even in this darkest hour, hope remains. A mysterious relic is borne to Neverwinter in the hands of a lone hero so that its secrets may be unlocked – secrets that carry the fate of all the North. So begins an epic tale of shattered alliances, noble acts and dark deeds to be told across the Realms for generations to come.
Now im sure The Elder Scrolls series gained some fans when it came to consoles, so if you loved Morrowind and Oblivion then you’ll love Obsidian Entertainment’s Neverwinter nights 2. Its westernized RPG gaming at it’s best, so if you love your dungeons and dragons style of role playing game then don’t hesitate to pick this one up.
