Our prayers go out to his family at this time, the world has lost someone very important to the hearts of millions of people out there. 1. Yesterday, the greatest entertainer to grace this earth since the late/great James Brown had his final curtain call. In remembrance of a life that was so influential to the world, I task any and all who are in the music industry, aspire to be, and or are just lovers of music to pay homage by not just talking about how good he was, but to strive to be the best you can be. I, for one, am a aspiring producer/singer/emcee/songwriter who has made a personal vow to change the dismal landscape what is considered music by today’s standards. Music lovers…I implore you to help by no longer supporting what these money hungry record labels are passing as music. In your heart of hearts, you know what good music sounds like and how it becomes a cherished addition to the soundtrack of your life. If you listen to radio, call and complain about what they are trying to force-feed your soul. Real music takes time. A few weeks or a month is not long enough. Many have fought and died for your right to be heard and justice to prevail. Change starts when you have the courage to fight for what you believe. If you buy albums, downloads, what have you, you are casting your vote for the taste-makers of your generation. Rap is not Hip Hop. Pop is not Soul. Whatever they passing as rock music is definitely not IT!!!! Where is the substance? Where is the relevance? Artists, I dare you to be original. There is only one Jay-Z, Kanye, U2, The Clash, and of course there was only one Michael Jackson. My point is, you all say that your music is different…prove it. And finally to the execs…first of all you all need a kick in the ass for bastardizing one of man’s gifts to this world. Sure, I know at the end of the day it is a business, but why muffle the voices of reason? If you are not a music lover, then I say, find a new job. You can make money selling crack if you that greedy. Your doing the same thing to society but on a much larger scale. WAKE UP, PEOPLE!!!

  2. the 7 dawg says:

RIP Michael I just wish Swiff would have posted a black picture of you!

  3. Mr. Kennedy says:

People might have classed him as a mad fuck-nugget but he was a genius.

Apparently when I was a toddler I used to try and dance to Mike’s music.

    That says it all really.

  4. MIchael Jackson- R.I.P. to the world’s greatest entertainer!
