For those familiar with Armor Games’ Flash title “Shift“, the whacky and innovative puzzle-adventure game has arrived on the App Store. To be honest, I never actually played the Flash-based game. But when I saw this on the App Store, I thought I’d give myself a free sample test via Google. A quick search of “Shift Flash game” led me to the game. I didn’t even need 10 minutes of play to base my decision that the game was Triple A material.

The objective of  the game is to basically reach the Exit — how you’ll be doing that is a whole different story. Pressing the ’shift’ key on your keyboard will invert the black-and-white colours to white-and-black (or white and black to black and white). It’s not easy to explain, but when you play it you’ll realize that Shift is unlike any other puzzler you’ve played.Surprisingly, despite the keyboard-less system, the iPhone and iPod touch versions faithfully recreate the experience right to your pocket.
