The Co-Op Episode 306 – Who Dat?
Two amazing things happened on Sunday evening. The Saints won the Superbowl, and The Koalition recorded another episode of the Co-Op podcast. We recorded as the Superbowl was going on, so don’t be surprised to hear a lot of Superbowl tension when you listen. Relive the great moments of last nights game, through listening to us.
But enough about the Superbowl, it’s time to talk about games.That is what we do best on the Co-Op. Kap im looking to buy some saturn games so put them on ebay or amazon koalition store so i can see how much.
So Kap please tell me how Saturn was garbage? Lets break this down into 3 parts.
1.You compared it to the 360 so are you talking about durability? Its funny you said that cause my saturn just died last year 2009 (av problem)….yup thats the same saturn that i got when i turned 12,im 26 now. 14 yrs for a system aint bad.
2.Maybe you feel the tech is wack? Well just remember saturns 8 processors -compared to ps1 two processors- ran games like Nights while ps1 couldnt handle it (long story why). OR the “garbage” tech ran ALL 2d games better than ps1(look at ANY of capcoms fighters for proof)
3. Ah! You think the games suck (68:16 “Panzer Dragoon should stay where the fuck its at….. on Ebay”)
3 diff Panzer Dragoons on Saturn,the one your refering to seems to be Panzer Dragoon Saga. 2 reasons why it sells on ebay for upwards of $200. 1)because its rare 2)Its ONE OF THE BEST GAMES EVER

^ that copy is selling for $799 because the game is a masterpiece!
Sega 32x is garbage and those games are also rare…you will never find them selling at that price.

Virtua Fighter 2- Just one of the best fighting games ever
Dayton USA 1- Ridge Racer Murderer thats all
Guardian Hereos- Shel or Dre should i even comment about this classic.BTW i still never seen all the endings
Shining Force 3- ummm the BEST SRPG ever! Tactics doesnt come close to this games depth. Also the 2 other scenarios add a new level of gaming that has rarely been touched.
SF Alpha 2 Gold- yes this was on the ps1 but saturn had the perfect arcade port. Some say this is the best Alpha.
Anyway i gotta finish playing FF6 but yeah if anyone thinks im talkin out my ass about those games your welcome to look up the reviews.
Saturn was a Hardcore gamer system. Sega didnt have much 3rd party support and didnt spend much $ on ads so alot of the greatness went unnoticed.
People for years fought with me about how Tekken was better than VF. Once it landed on the same system ppl said “i never said that” cause VF raped Tekken in every way. No Homo

no tech wise…i had two sega saturns dat both died on me…game wise it was good…and i did hve panzer as well…ahhhh virtua cop i cant believe u mentioned dat…damn dat shit was dope…nights…sega rally…i had nba jam t.e. for it 2…son ima go get it out of storage!!!!!!!

sorry guys but halo is made in a cheese factory so expect reach to be cheesey, i just dont like this franchise, little purple aliens running around, it may well have been a pioneer in its day, but now its just a cash cow like fifa and madden.the die hard fans are just being hyped up and sucked in each time they buy another halo.
Fps are getting pretty tired i think, mass effect is great but i feel that number 2 is watered down, to call it an rpg is boarderline, Demon souls is an rpg, seriously hard 90 hours game play, physics incredible, if your in a tunnel and swing your sword the sword slows down as it hits the wall and doesnt hit with its full power, so you revert to a jabbing move, blood on the floor left with messages from other players is incredible, this is something fresh in a game. mass effect 2 is amazin, but like in mw2 i feel its more user friendly and more arcade like, easy to play rather than master. Just so sales keep rolling.

Mass Effect 2 cant be fully called an RPG. but it's still an excellent game though.
yeah i think the game is amazing as a game, but to sit in the genre of rpg, im not so sure, more of an action game with a deeper story and larger dialogue, but thats just my personal view, like i said i think it was watered down to cover a wider audience, some rpgs are for the real fans of this genre, the type of rpg that can not be finished in 1 weekend
