Whats up people. The Cop or Flop Weekly is in full effect. All those Fall 2010 games we have been waiting for are ready to flood the market. I’m getting goosebumps thinking about how much money I am about to give up. This week in gaming isn’t going to help my wallet either. I could easily post all games that are cop worthy this week. Checkout the list to see what I mean.

NBA Live is coming for that number 1 spot. Seems like whenever I talk to some about what basketball game they are picking up this week I am getting more Live answers than 2K10. Fun gameplay, solid presentation, and that timely demo release has done wonders for this games notoriety. To put it simple, Live is worth picking up.

NBA 2K has been the king of basketball games for 9 years. Chances are if you have fallen in love with the 2K series you look at NBA Live like the junior varsity squad. For the superior basketball simulation copping this game is the route to go.

I’m keep it real on this one. It very well could have gotten the flop treatment. However, when I think about playing this game on a 50 inch tv after knocking back a beer or two I see this games potential. When your not on the solo tip, might even lets the kids play if you have any. It’s better than going to the zoo.

Demon Souls

If you desire a good, action rpg that isn’t boring for half the game *cough… fallout 3…cough* this game is what the you should be looking at. Word on the street is that this game is a slept on GOTY contender. Google more about to see if you could feel the same way.

Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising

It’s impossible for me not to say anything about MW2 when on the subject of first person shooters. Now that I got that out of the way, this game seems cool and fun. Unfortunately, I put off fps until that other game comes out. If you are a fps fanatic it worth learning more about.

    Dude are you serious, I said it a year ago when it was releases in Japan and I'll say it again. This is the stupidist Idea for a game and the critic reviews are just validating my point. "Lets go into a virtual world and take pictures of virtual animals"

    Demon Soul I played the JP import( well my lil brother into those games),
    its more like Oblivion but in 3rd person.

    Operation Flashpoint, I am getting that for my PC gaming

    LoL come on man, I am just keeping real, Live to 5 steps forward FOR SURE but is still 95 steps behind 2K.

    Live looks to static now, the players seem like robotic toys dipped in Crisco.

    The gameplay is uninspiring meaning it doesn't even feel like a real NBA game( which 2k recreates so great) but rather is just a gamey version of the NBA( why EA does this???? ).

    Its like EA specifically force themselves to be in the middle of Arcadish & Sim, do they even want to compete with 2k? because from the looks of it they are afraid to go all the way SIM.

    Call me when EA makes up their mind and wants to become competitive at recreating the true feeling of NBA experience, maybe then will buy another NBA LIVE.

  • Completed Demon Souls a few months back. Best gaming experience I've had on any console in 2009 and for a very long time. They don't make games like this anymore, especially ones that are as rewarding and provide such a sense of accomplishment. Gaming gone way too casual this generation.

    I heard that Demon Souls is way to hard, and I don't have time to pissed off at my controller, because I would be dying a lot. Bring on Dragon Age for PC.
