What’s up. How is everyone doing out there? Welcome back to the Cop or Flop Weekly. I’m not sure if anything should be copped for the rest of the year, so just consider this the Flop or Flop Weekly until further notice. Now is the perfect time to start playing games that you have put in your backlog. You could also just buy all the games that are coming out and donate them to charity once you are finished with them. That’s what you would feel like doing if you end up buying some of these games. Check out the list below and see what I mean.
Rogue Warrior … 360, PS3, PC

Cop or Flop: Flop …
Rarely does a game seems worst after watching new video footage of it, but this seems to be the case for me. Nothing seems that impressive about this game. I grow weary of Mickey Rourke’s voice from gameplay trailers. The action seems boring and uninspiring as well. Maybe I’m just hating on this game too much. Is anyone willing to pick this up and prove me wrong?
Resident Evil Zero … Wii

Cop or Flop: Flop …
Another Resident Evil remake. Who could have seen this coming? Capcom and Nintendo are really milking this series. The old gameplay style of the original Resident Evils were fun back in the day, but in 2009 with motion controls it just feels wack.
Avatar … 360, PS3, PC, Wii, DS, PSP

Cop or Flop: Flop …
Movie games seem to be made with failure in mind. I don’t even know if this game is decent or not, but history says it will suck. James Cameron made Termination Salvation’s storyline flop by not contributing, so is this going to be different? I think I will rent this before condemning it anymore. However, by no means should any sane person spend $60 on this. Just decide if you want to see the movie or not.
DJ Star … DS

Cop or Flop: Flop …
I thought this was some kind of joke at first. Watching Youtube footage of the game in action didn’t help the cause either. Image Beatorator with low budget sounds and 8 bit graphics. Putting your DS in an ant bed would be equivalent to the amount of fun you would receive from playing DJ Star. With that being said, this sounds like Htown’s Game of the Year nomination.
