The Kanye thing is just typical Kanye. It is the same thing he did at the MTV europe awards. He needs to take some time out and get his mind right. If Jay-z was there it wouldn’t have happened.

Yo. Personally on the issue of Resident Evil 5 I was cool with everything. I’m a fan of the series 1st and foremost and the game didn’t disappoint (expect for that wackass ending). As far as race goes, when the game was set in Raccoon City for 3 games I blasted white zombies. When RE4 was set in Spain I blasted Spanish zombies. When the game was set in Africa I blasted black zombies. All seems fair in the world with me. I didn’t think any deeper than that because I knew the writers would take the time to make a great story that justifies why I’m blasting who I’m blasting. Which they did.

i agree with owen in the respect that its generally not worth commenting on every hater on kotaku. i definitely believe they are a special collection of internet assholes that frequent that site. a lot of people are decent but a lot of people are incendiary for the sole purpose of trolling and getting attn. The rule at Kotaku is DON’T FEED THE TROLLS. I feel your comments and identify, empathize and sympathize.

I know this subject has been beaten to death but I’m curious as to how Resident Evil 5 and the controversy surrounding it was received here at The Koalition.

That was mean what Kanye did up there, love his music, but what he did up there was just wrong. The funny thing is that Kanye probably wont apologize and probably wont have to.
