Thats right, today (the 17th November) is The Koalition’s 1 year birthday. So this is a very special office. In this episode we break it down 100% on how we started the site, hear it right from the people who created the Koalition. The Koalition would like to thank all the fans and everybody who has shown their support over the past 12 months.
Incase you forgot what The Koalition is about, then we’re going to remind you. Below is a little story/description all about The Koalition’s goals and achievements.
The Koalition is a video game site targeting the hiphop & urban community. Providing new perspective for the consumer as well as the game makers. The Koalition has become the authority in hiphop and video games from experience in game journalism, passion for music, and social networking.
The Koalition has quickly become the dominant urban voice in gaming, With features on top site/publications such as Kotaku, ThisIs50, GamePro, Shade45, Complex, 2Dopeboyz, Konsole Kingz and even collaborations with Xbox Live. The Koalition was also the 2009 Black Weblog Award winner for best technology site/blog.

Happy birthday to The Koalition and PS3!!!. This episode was real cool, it really tells people how much you guys have really been threw and done in just a year. This site is really unique and thats what i love about it. Koalition FTW

This was great, very nostalgic. I remember the beginning of it all, also I remember Kap gave a Shout out when he was in the car heading to E3.
The intro song is classic but I wouldve went with byrd gangs anniversary song. But yeah congrats! Keeps up all the good work.
Kap is wack… I remember emailing him asking to write for the site and up til’ now he still aint responded. lol
I remember when this all started with a podcast that Godz turned me on to, I’ve been a fan ever since. When you dudes left BXGamer to form anal** **** BXgamer died to me and then when that shady shit happened over at THAT site I stopped fucking with them too cos I can honestly say that all my favorite people took the jump over to TK.
Man when I started here I was so dedicated that I used to write up reviews on my damn iPod and email them to 7 cos I didn’t have internet at the time. I am truly a fan of the entire team, from Mills to Swiff, to Rakeem, to Celis, to Rich, to Ruthlesskid… I love everybody. And I know that this time next year we’ll still be here, only we’ll be even stronger.
