What a crazy concept this is, Gamer is set in a world where humans have control over other human beings in a massively multiplayer game type setting where they are forced to kill each other. Hollywood are desperate for new ideas, and this seems like a pretty unique concept, plus both Gerard Butler and Ludacris performed well in Rock n’ Rolla so the casting for Gamer looks fulfilling.
