The producer of Valkyrie Chronicles 2 revealed recently, via the official blog of Valkyrie Chronicles 2, that the next major iteration of the series will be headed to PSP instead of the PS3. The reasoning behind this move is in hopes of expanding the series, apparently. The demographic of PSP users combined with how much easier it is to develop for the handheld as opposed to its older brother, PS3, would allow the team to more efficiently expand the franchise. BS? Laziness? Lack of resources? Hidden agenda? Or Truth? Valkyrie Chronicles 2 is scheduled to release January 2010 in Japan. A summer release has been reported for North America.
