Great article, needless to say i agree with it.

MGS has been a great series with arguably the best cinematic storytelling in the medium and, with the masterpiece that is number 4, it cemented it’s place at the top !
I always thought that having a good original story does matter but the way you tell it is what matters most, but when you have both an amazingly intricate and compelling story and tell it in such an exceptional way, with second to none production values and cinematic prowess, then you have pretty much “the best” right in front of you.

This is the MGS saga.

What’s wrong with him writing an article about how much he enjoys mgs? He’s not trying to convert everyone into liking what he likes. He said outright that that wasn’t his goal. This going back and forth between game franchises and consoles are ridiculous. Everyone has their favorite game franchise and console. Respect everyone’s preferences instead of trying to force your beliefs down their throats. Maybe he has played other games, and still prefers the story of MGS. Particularly, this is targeted towards you Joshua. But I’m sure in the next few days, fanboys are going to be all over this comment section with similar goals as Joshua, using the anonymity of the internet to try and act like they’re superior to everyone else when they’re probably the people that are too socially awkward to get anywhere in life on a count of their knowledge only in videogames. Which, surprisingly, isn’t a very good conversation piece.

If you think that MGS is the best video game story, then why go on about it? We dont need you to tell us how great it is, weve played it ourselves and found out. And while your at it…there are OTHER games in the world, just in case you forgot.
