Looks like Nintendo might follow suit with a price drop of their own as the fall/holiday season approaches. A Toys R Us ad has been discovered and within that ad is the Wii priced at a new low price of $199. Nintendo has not officially confirmed a price drop so don’t waste those extra $50 bucks just yet, in case the ad is false. We are basing this off a blurry Toys R Us ad so who knows but I believe it’s real, seeing as how the hardware numbers have lowered this year. A $199 Wii might mean trouble for the hi-def consoles especially for Xbox 360 seeing as how they have a $199 version of the Xbox 360. The ad is due out on Sept. 27th, so until then we’ll know if the price drop is true or false.
