In a press release earlier on today, Activision claimed that the new Tony Hawk game (Tony Hawk Ride) would be an Xbox 360 exclusive in the UK. However Activision’s PR company in the UK is now apologizing for the press release, claiming it was a blunder.

This morning Frank PR informed the press the game would be exclusive to Microsoft, with Activision’s internal PR representatives also confirming the information over the phone.

Later however, Activision then distanced itself from the initial release statements. They then revealed that they are still in negotiations with Microsoft.

Now, to complicate the matter, Frank PR has issued an apology, claiming the game will be available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii.

So does this mean a timed exclusive? This is a very suspicious day in regards to the Activision UK PR.
My senses tell me that the game will indeed be exclusive to the Xbox 360 in the UK, but only for a periodic amount of time.

Frank PR of Activision has since apologized for all the confusion.
