Microsoft has reached a great milestone in Japan that is sure to motive them to continue their plans for world domination. Kotaku.com has stated:

According to sales figures from Famitsu publisher Enterbrain, lifetime sales for the Xbox 360 have crossed the million sold watermark in Japan with 1,001,191 units as of March 29. The Xbox 360 went on sale in Japan on December 10, 2005.

With the way the original Xbox tanked in Japan, Microsoft is proving that with quality product, a good business plan. and a capable marketing team, that obstacles can and will be crossed. Sony has a 2mil homecourt advantage lead over the American based company Microsoft, but by no means should they be comfortable. If the Xbox 360 trend of RPG exclusives continue in Japan, I wouldn’t be surprised by the end of 2010 to see Sony throws up the white flag… or at least hire me as a Marketing Consultant.

I don't consider a console that breaks a quality product.
